  1. I managed to get mine off exactly how I removed my front ones. There is enough space to squeeze the clip through. Hard to explain by text but you should be able to force it through.
  2. There seems to be a few people on here with a hand fetish
  3. Do you think I could get away with 30mm rears and 25mm fronts with standard RAYS and a standard suspension setup?
  4. She can ride on me anytime but not my Zed! At 1:59 her gear change was scary!
  5. Yes you are at fault for starting it, you're corrupting us!!
  6. What so they can sp*t roa*t you with their 'toys'?
  7. The one in the middle would get it..... You take the middle, I take the right
  8. Haha! I thought so! How's your head? ROFL you know what I ended up with a MASSIVE lump which is now just a lump. No broken skin, bizzarely OMG Did your hit it that hard!!?? You've STILL got the lump, it's been weeks!! It must have hurt! Did you feel dazed? Yeah normally impacts like that doesn't cut the skin... against the law to leave a car on the road with a cover over it reflectors must show by law! Daym...Get some reflective strips and sew them onto the cover Good thinking That's true...I was close to purchasing a cover myself until I looked into it further. I'd only use a cover on freshly washed body work (i.e. wash it and cover it up before you go on holiday or something). The grit and dirt you'll pick up will leave loads of swirl marks as the wind rubs the cover across the bodywork with a layer of dirt between them, just like sandpaper. A cover is well worth it for when you leave the car for a couple of weeks whilst you go on holiday. Personally I wouldn't use a cover when parked on the road as it will stick out like a sore thumb. People will be curious as to what's underneath, especially when looking at the shape of the Zed! This will attract unwanted attention. I won't be surprised if the cover got robbed!
  9. So who else is going to pull that stunt?

    Exhaust weights

It says each cat weighs 23kg, I held a kinetix HFC yesterday and that weighed peanuts compared to that! Is there actually that much difference in weight!??

  13. Did I meet you a couple of weeks ago linkster?
  14. Definitely, especially when I have/will be upgrading all the other components. Rather just upgrade the Y-pipe also. At the moment I have a Toyosport backbox and mid-section and going to fit Kinetix HFCs, I have no idea what size the Y-pipe has to be for them to fit the components Does anybody know of any cheap brand new Y-pipes?
  15. You can have my oem for £29.99 + post, You can have my oem for £29.99 + post, Hugh! Why I oughta.....! You boys are funny! I love that pic, made me laugh!!! I'm trying to avoid fitting an OEM Y-pipe as I've already purchased a set of Kinetix HFCs and have a Toyosport backbox and mid-pipe already fitted. The only component left to replace would be the Y-pipe. I would be better off with the full system being upgraded so my full exhaust system will be unrestricted. You've both offered th Y-pipes at a very good price though! How much difference would an aftermarket Y-pipe make compared to the OEM one? Both sound and performance-wise. Many thanks, Hassan
  16. Hmm...I'll have to wait over the weekend and see if someone pops up with a used Y-pipe lying around. I don't want to be parting with £250 for a Y-pipe, I could do other things to the car that would bring greater benefit with that kind of money. I will try Alex, never know he may have one - he's full of surprises! I really appreciate your help and advice though Michael
  17. i'm trying to find the actual article, but can only find reference to it. lots of other forums talk about it, but not found the actual article. i also added the BMC on there, it is the most expensive, but they make great stuff, and very few people seem to know they exisit. they build a lot for motorsport and F1 teams. as for cleaning the do luck ones, you can use a K&N filter cleaning and re oiling kit and you can get them from halfords. In the world of BMWs, the BMC filters are highly regarded. I also had a BMC performance panel filter in my BMW 330ci M sport, bought it for £45
  18. Thanks for your help mate. I'm actually looking for a used one as it'll be significantly cheaper than a brand new one, forgot to mention that in my original post!
  19. Hi all, Does any body have an aftermarket Y-pipe they're selling? Please let me know if you have. Many thanks, Hassan
  20. I had a parasitic drain in my BMW that caused the car to go completely dead, there wasn't even enough power to unlock the car. It was diagnosed as a ZKE module (body electrics control module) issue. Let's hope yours is an simple and cheap fix!!
