  1. Also ... is it a post 06 car... and do you want to sell me the old standard intake kit? Both of ours are pre-facelift so they have the single intake not the dual like the facelifts
  2. Yeah it is quite idiot proof to be fair... How did you attach the heat shield to the OEM air duct near the front bumper? The bit where you need to drill 2 holes in the air duct and attach it to the bottom of the heat shield. Is that where the car came from when it was brand new?
  3. Nah, not tight, just wanna be "different" ... yeah, I will be a Guinea-pig. And if they DO look any good, I could always sell on the spare 4 to someone on here. Will take lots of before/after photos..... In about 4 WEEKS time when they turn up! Ahh...you want to be a trend setter lol! I like it, entrepreneurial thinking I'm going to be waiting eagerly to see the results. Hopefully I won't die of old age by the time they arrive
  4. Well done mate, car looks stunning! I'm glad to know you like the sound of it! Adds another dimension to the 'sporty' noise of the engine and exhaust. How bad was the clay when you finished? Results from claying are well worth the effort, especially the glass-like feel of the surface! A lot of people tend to miss that stage out which effects the detailing finish a lot as waxes and polishes don't tend to work as good on a contaminated surface. Your strut brace is looking good too
  5. HA HA ... I am in no rush to get them. I am going to try them for a fiver... if they are awful, they are awful. Only lost a fiver, then will stump up for a set you have posted Not driving her till the weekend anyway, should save me some cash Fair enough, someone has to be the Guinea Pig hey Let us know how they are! HAHA!! I thought I was tight, think I've found a competitor!
  6. Well done mate, looks great! Did you fit the popcharger yourself? Also, I see your car reg begins with OV54, which dealership was it registered at?
  7. Yep I agree Common show us...sharing is caring
  8. Ah...same set-up as mine!! Trust me they're worth every penny mate, the car looks beefier like it's been on steds for the past few days With regards to handling etc, I've not felt any difference though, it's purely for looks.
  9. Indicators need to be amber but there are many members who've converted them to those silver bulbs which are still the same amber colour with a silver appearance, makes the car look modern. We are referring to the headlight side lights Cheers bud... me getting mixed up again Might try a set... Thought these might be worth a try... fiver for 8 .... they might be OK... or they will be REALLY bad http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0667214503 Thanks again No worries mate! I wouldn't risk it to be honest with you, they look a bit cheap and they will take 10 years to arrive. Just pay the few quid extra and purchase the ones in the link I provided, they will arrive within 2 days. To offset the extra cost, just don't drive your Zed for 1 day

  11. Here you go matey: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/501-5-SMD-LED-WHI ... 4735wt_938 These bulbs can be used as side lights and number plate lights The seller will give you a discount on postage if you buy 2 sets, so you're in a win win situation!
  12. What size spacers you go for?? Makes a hell of a difference! The number plate LED lights and rear OEM LEDs completely transform the rear of the car at night!
  13. Yes...I did mine a month ago. Turn your wheel to full lock. remove 2 screws from the bottom of the bumper and 1 screw on the edge of the liner and bumper inside the arch. That should be enough to peel out the arch liner and squeeze your hand through. The sidelight bulb holders are relatively low so it's not difficult to reach if you've got relatively small hands. The bulb holder itself is the standard 'twist and pull' procedure. If you're replacing the bulbs with LED lamps. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THEY'RE WORKING FIRST BEFORE YOU PUT EVERYTHING BACK TOGETHER as LED lamps only work one way round. MAke sure you do the number plate lights too while you're at it, they are very easy to do and will be cheaper to get 4 bulbs at once...
  14. Get the document reference number off the front page of the log book and full number plate. You can do a full MOT history check on http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/j ... equest.jsp. If you need a hand, let me know and I'll carry out the check for you and send you the history. This will give you the most accurate mileage verification as it's carried out through VOSA's MOT systems. With regards to the service history, I would call the garages up. I've done that before with my BMW 330ci M sport and obtained a lot of information about the previous owner, what they were like, their occupation and what they had done to the car. This put my mind at rest and gave me the peace of mind that I was buying a straight car. Best of luck, Hassan PS -
  15. Thank you! I shall have a read through this when I finish work
  16. How much does that wheel armor last? I'm hoping a long time if it's £35 a pop How do you manage to wash the wheels without it hitting the bodywork? I seriously need to look into purchasing some of these stuff...I cant bare leaving the wheels the way they are between washes, they look disgusting! I wash my car once every 2/3 weeks as I lack time!
  17. That is perfectly normal on an OEM clutch/flywheel set-up Many people (including me) has noticed this noise. I guess i's just part of the characteristic of the car
  18. Oops... What's the life expectancy of our LEDs?
  19. If I left my wheels for a week, it would be too caked on to do a quick wiper-over. It would need a proper wash if I waited that long. Where could I get this gtechniq C5 from? So wiping the wheels with a damp cloth then drying it off is safe to do? Thanks!
  20. Can you pls recommend any products? You wash your car EVERY TIME!?? How often do you use it!? I'm after a method where I can every now and again just quickly pull out the stuff and give the wheels a quick wipe and take off the dust. But I don't want to mark or stain them either...
  21. I think that colour is called 'Brickyard'...very nice Only popular in America though
  22. Hi all, I've always wanted to ask this question out of curiosity... Seeing as the dashboard lights are constantly lit with headlights on or off, what's the life expectancy on these bulbs? I've never come across any member on here advising one of their dashboard bulbs have stopped working, so I'm guessing these must have a very long life? I've only had one car which had a blown dashboard bulb and that was a Toyota MR2, they failed at 70k miles. I'm guessing the 350z run LED bulbs? Thanks, Hassan
  23. Hi all, Since I had Ferodo DS2500 pads fitted to the fronts, the car has been producing unbelievable amounts of brake dust. I now regret refurbing my wheels in a light colour as it sticks out like a sore thumb! After washing it, within the first drive they are already powdered with dust. When the wheels are clean, it makes so much difference to the appearance of the car! The car seems to stay clean for ages, the only reason I wash it is due to the wheels being caked in a thick layer of black dust. I plan on giving my wheels a wipe every 3/4 days just to maintain the 'clean wheel look'. Does anybody else do this? I want to know what the safest and quickest possible method there is without damaging the wheels? I appreciate your help guys! Regards, Hassan
  24. I've just fitted a pair of Kinetix HFCs connecting to an OEM Y-pipe and Toyosport mid-pipe and backbox. This combination sounds awesome!
  25. +1 Yep...insurers are willing to pay up to 60% of the market value of the car IIRC, if the repair cost exceeds that value then it's deemed a write-off (cat D)
