  1. I'll sell it you for £80 You joker!!! I'm going to ask a thick question so bare with me.... what does these things do? I know it's something to do with controlling the throttle...
  2. Bruv I really appreciate your help! When will you be free to link up? I can either come over to yours and sort it there or we can do it elsewhere at your convenience. You're a life saver man!! That's a good idea, thanks for you advice! I'll take up Narcotix's kind offer on using the code reader and we'll take it from there
  3. Hassan you mean Yes you're right... liking the attention to detail I was driving a few days ago and the traction and ABS lights triggered. A few members have suspected this was the brake fluid level which I have topped up. Now the EML light has triggered when merging onto the M1... I can't remember if the EML light triggered the last time also or not. All the other warning lights went off as soon as I switched off and restarted the car. The EML has stayed on permanently...
  4. Hiran! The flashing CEL method looks very confusing! I'll probably end up with the wrong diagnosis altogether This software/cable, do I have to install it onto a laptop or something? I don't actually own a laptop, I'm a PC person I would really appreciate it if you could help somehow though...
  5. Hi all, I was just driving from Leicester to Nottingham on the M1 to pick up my new HTC Sensation . I was giving it a bit of gas (around 3k-4k revs) to merge onto the motorway when I noticed my EML light trigger. I have no access to a code reader and thought I'd see what the possibilities are before I get the car inspected. I topped up my brake fluid earlier today but checked to see if it was leaking, it was on nice and tight. I have a pair of Kinetix HFC's fitted, could this be the cause? All input is very much appreciated. Many Thanks, Hassan
  6. I'll give you one guess. HAHA Cheeky sh*t Thanks for your help mate! Thanks mate Let's hope I don't blow my car up by mistake your Z appears to have fallen over and shrunk See my Z is special...wanna swap?
  7. I just got this from work. Is this the right brake fluid and the right quality?
  8. I work for Parkers (www.thepartspeople.co.uk) based in the Midlands. I could get all the details/prices of the parts you require for you on Monday if you want? Let me know. Many Thanks, Hassan
  9. I doubt it but wondered if not having the resistors might cause issue's with the BCM. I hope not...can somebody please fill us in? I will replace mine with resistor ones immediately if that's the case! Like i said i doubt it. The led's will pull less current than the stock filament type and like you say its probably more to do with a failed lamp feature if a car supports that. Yeah my 330ci had that feature so I had to purchase LEDs with resistors built-in. As this car didn't, I thought it was safe to purchase the ones without and save a bit of money!
  10. Easy to fit and do-able within an hour unless you get over-excited and snap a bolt head off like me! Took me ages unscrewing it from the bottom with a set of pliers

  12. Hmm...when a rep from Denso came to train some of our staff on these new TT spark plugs, he specifically used the 350z as an example as he received a call for advice with regards to a 350z (he was unaware one of us actually owned one as I was not present and no one mentioned it to him). I don't know much on the technical side of things, I'm just in charge of the marketing side of the business and not the actual products/parts side. The sales guys at work who spoke to the Denso rep were telling me and didn't hear it from him directly. I'll have to do further research and get back to you boys I'm sure Alex and the others on here know more than I do so I would go with their advice! I'm just regurgitating what I heard at work...
  13. I purchased the ones without resistors as we don't have the bulb warning feature on our cars...am I risking ruining my electrics!?
  14. Hi mate, Sorry I just realised you posted on this thread! It's difficult to compare as I don't have before and after pics from exactly the same angle. Also I got the rear Nismo spats fitted at the same time as the spacers which doesn't help compare. I haven't got before and after photos from the side of the car to show a clear difference, I'm sure another member will be able to help with this as there are plenty of members on here who have the RAYS wheels with standard suspension and 20/25mm spacers. If you look at the before and after photos of the rear of the car, you'll notice in the after photo that the rear wheels are visible from sides of the car, giving the Zed a 'wider' look. If I can provide any further assistance please let me know. Pics are attached: After: Before:
  15. Thanks for your reply. Right I'll get some DOT 4 from work tomorrow and top it up. I hope that is the reason the lights triggered, I hope it's not a major issue or an electrical fault! If I carry out diagnostics on the car, would it bring up codes pointing towards 'low brake fluid level'?
  16. No problem matey These bulbs are exactly the ones I purchased from the same seller. They seem to have dropped in price since when I purchased them! I would suggest you fit them. Just revert them back to standard if you're not satisfied and sell them to a member on here.
  17. Do it, they make the car look more modern. I hated the creamy colour mixed with the white-ish HID lights, spoilt the look in my opinion. Pics attached:
  18. Thanks for your help Rich I'm guessing the brake fluid expands when the engine is warm right? If I fill it up to MAX when the engine is cold, wouldn't it cause the fluid level to exceed the MAX threshold when the engine is warm?
  19. The weird thing is I weren't even using my brakes, I was driving 'quick' in a straight line when all the warning lights triggered. Would this also be related to my handbrake warning light? I will get some DOT 4 and top it up and see what happens. Do you recommend a certain manufacturer for the DOT 4? Its because when you put your foot down the fluid will move in the resevoir, because its low it will trigger the sensor. Doubt if your rears would cause it to be that low, should have been topped up when they done your discs and pads. Hmm...is it dangerously low? At it's current level could I cause any damage to anything? How often does brake fluid typically need topping up? Is this also related to my handbrake light coming on also? When I top it up when the engine is cold, what level do I fill it up to? Many thanks for your help, I really appreciate it!
  20. My front pads and discs were changed a few weeks ago, my rears were also checked at the time. The rears will need changing soon but still have life left in them...

  22. Is that what caused the warning lights to trigger!? Is it dangerously low? What do I top it up with??
  23. Thanks for your reply Mike Checked the brake fluids when I got home from work (engine was hot as I just drove it) The photos of the levels are below: Any input?
