Collected the car now, the run home was great even if I did have to put 85quid in the car first. . No worse the the scoob though just havent filled a car up with my own money for 6 weeks . I think Im in love again (not quite a subsitute for the Mrs..... ) . So pleased we decided on a zed as the replacement for the car as its just awesome. Handles better than I expected, sounds great, although its wierd not to have noisy overun on downshifting. It is just such a nice car and its so nice to have a quick car thats comfortable versus the scoob that certainly wasnt. Looking forward to some meets and shows this year now.

Colected it tonight and shell even let me drive the car home. . Many thanks to Craig for all the help etc and such a smooth purchase. .

Woohoo everything sorted for collection Friday Cant wait even if I wont get to drive the car home as shell will get that little treat as it is her car day to day after all. Will get it saturday though .

Well from one ex subaru owner(well almost the car is being sold off piece by piece after a conrod sheared in the engine ) and almost now 350z owner (collecting hopefully early next week ) welcome.

Technically I'll be the co-owner and junior partner at that . Mrs will get to drive the car day to day as ive got my company oil burner . Ill get the better half to get a log on in a bit so she can introduce herself as well

Will be in a week or so once weve sorted out insurance and got the money out of the bank etc. Hoping to collect it next weekend if we can.

yes the carbon is still there considering a carbon spoiler and front splitter rather than a full wrap. Will see once we've got the car:p onyl just sent the deposit across so will be a week or so before we actually collect the car. Few other ideas for minor things.

Yes mate and Craig is a true gent. Nice to be able to deal with a nice cahp with a very nice car thats been cared for properly. Just got a frustrating wait now for funds to clear so we can go collect the car. Cant wait

Hi well just a hello as thought I'd join the forum as were now looking aeriously at buying a 350z as a replacement for our now very dead track scoob. Not looking at a particularly modded z as want a reasonably standard car for a bit and wont be tracking the z. As the scoob is currently in pieces only have a budget up to 11ish any advice on what to look out for when buying one. also are there any big costs to look out for with cars in and around the 40-60k mark? Looking forward to owning one and maybe getting down/up to some events meet-ups etc.
