I went fishing and you took the bait Now wheres my big spanner and Kristinas (random german birds name) washing machine??
-
AVG = 26mpg at the mo. Thats from weekend and occasional evening use with decent off throttle driving where possible and the occasional blast of Nismo pipe howl at tunnels/straights/slip roads etc..
-
We've all got a soft spot for curvy birds.. or else we wouldnt be on this forum Just think how much more 'rear end' action we get from this lady as opposed to ze german girl!
-
She'll be fine, a bit of body work replacement and Zed will not be dead baby
-
Yeah my mate Bri with his TVR Griffith 500 will be pi**ing his pants reading this thread, his TCS is a long travel loud pedal
-
I think we are all in agreement then that TCS off in the dry makes the Zed a better drive.. Just feels so much more alive when its 'off' on your favourite b-road
-
Going back in the thread a bit.. but for all us 'Ampshire lads/lasses Micheldever Tyres will price match against any legitimate price you can find on the web. Top class fitting and service too.. had my previous MR2 and 307 daily runner re-booted there

Yes and in the 80's hot hatch stakes. I'll love the memory of my 205 1.9 GTi at 18 years old back in the day forever! The Japs win at the V6 game though.. oh wait, what about the Pug 605 V6? No wait.. only joking
-
Like some of you im lucky enough to have a daily driver and the Zed in the garage for weekends. Cheers to that!

Great. Prob not selling for a while yet but i paid £12.8k for my 30k miles 2007 GT in black in Dec 10 so it sounds like ive lost a couple of grand already! Saying that, this spec/yr/cond are up for between 12 and 14.5k on piston heads so they cant all be over priced. Jusr lack of buyers around right now but im sure the general market will pick up early next year. Yours, the Zed-UK financial advisor

My Pug 307 HDi 150 daily driver's engine is great. More torque than you can shake a stick with a french dog @*!# on at! I think we're gonna run out of popcorn for this one Vive Le Mans!

Are those alloys on the 240 standard then? Reckon they look like after markets..

Went down to the Goodwood Breakfast Club this morning. The theme was post 1970 sports cars and GT's so managed to get the Zed parked up on the grid area to show her off. Was joined by two other 350's scattered about the site.. The Zed definitley holds its own own in the looks department alongside much more exotic stuff Its older sister turned up to play too. You can really see the blood line the 350 shares in detail after a good look inside and out, so many little designs are just a modern version of the old one. If any of you live within an hour or so i'd highly reccomend a visit to this if you've not been before. Free entry, great breakfasts, great drive accross the South Downs to get there, hundreds of cars and a brilliant atmosphere for petrol heads. First Sunday of each month 8am till 12pm with a different theme each time.

Is this related to the infamous 'clicky rear axle' problem?? Like I have.. Or is that something different again??

Its standard on my 2007 56 plate GT. I thought it was on the older ones too but just a bigger/older adapter.. Have you looked in the cubby box by the drivers elbow?? -
Er.. am i? I have what i described, didnt mention any MY info, I dont have an illuminated ignition key area as they introduced that on the 313's didnt they? I have a last of the '296's', a 2007 56 plate. Has the silver control surrounds and better quality materials inside, LED rear lights, xennons etc..
-
Yeah i know, although my mates cousins dogs next door neighbours postman knows a place that'll pass it. How much do you charge for the Berks HF cats.. oh and the decats whilst your at it?? PM me if you'd prefer. Cheers..

...well just got back from the garage to look at this issue. Luckily nothing serious or expensive.. After we checked the length of the system whilst up on the ramp (love Millway Specialists, its a proper 'specialist/hands on/cup of tea whilst stood under your own car' type garage) i spotted some drips of condensation coming from the gasket on the last flange before the back box. We were looking at the front of the system so almost missed it at first.. So they unbolted it and saw that the gasket had coroded half way round. It got a clean up and a thick application of exhaust sealant (as the gaskets are difficult to get) and it sounds back to normal after the drive home. Didnt give it anywhere near full reheat as want to let the sealant set but im hoping thats problem solved. I'll order up a new gasket and take it back for fitting as the next step but we'll have to see if this works, it should do for a couple of years at least.. So not a cat problem but I might still go for the decats, prob resonated ones after a bit of research into sound on this forum, but i'll wait and see what happens with the back box issue first. And 27 quid for the job inc an ecu fault code check wasnt bad either. Thanks Jay

Yep if you have bluetooth adapter it will pick up the phone signal (look in car manual as you may have to initialise it first), display 'PHONE' on the Atari-esqu head unit display and you can then hear the voice through the speakers. There is a built-in microphone up by the rear view mirror on the roof lining in mine which is a 2007 GT. Make sure your phone B.Tooth is on first though -
Yep, as above, pre-facelift. And if you can stretch to it you REALLY do want to try and find a 56 plate 2007 facelift as the interior fittings, functionality, feel and quality is much better. I held out for a 2007 56 plate GT in black with the same colour leather as that grey one here and its soo nice. All the updates, bi-xennons, led rear lights, better inside, better bluetooth makes it feel like it'll stay feeling fresh much longer. Oh and i know the tax will be 440 quid on the 07> but the extra power is well worth it too Better resale potential too..

Doesnt sound like a prob. Had mine since Dec and the clutch still feels random at times!
-
Could be that. You said you "had it", has it gone away or been cured??
