  1. Pretty special treat this weekend. Attended the air show and got to take some pics afterwards with the C-17 Globemaster that flew over from the US for the show. This thing was unbelievable!! The sheer size of it!! Got to have a walk through the plane during the day which was great and chat/beer with the crew. Any way, some cracking pictures Grabbed this one too whilst we pretty much had the runway to ourselves!! Don't think I've ever been so tempted to launch the car!
  2. Hope the Nismo front is staying?.... Looking forward to seeing the finished result
  3. I PM'd Quick sharp after the Ad going up for sides and rear spats, just waiting for a reply hopefully i got in early enough
  4. My MOTs are always done by someone I know, and I am usually stood next to them the whole time having a nose under the car. Wouldn't like to leave it somewhere for the youngsters to rag around. Had the alignment done after recently fitting springs - as they drove it onto the ramp they gave it a couple of blips and all the techs went over for a look. Didn't bother me, sounded great
  5. I ran both combinations on my 350. Personally preferred it with the extra 5mm all round
  6. Seriously like this car! Did you get the spoiler direct from Carbon Signal?
  7. Yours is 25% Flex. (unless I'm working it out wrong ~ 1688 Likes/6869 Posts = 25%) I make it 24.5%....... But either way - Flex, aren't you an accountant or something to do with numbers?.....who should know better Mine is a lowly 26%.....but still higher than Flex Gits. I would like your comment Flex, but don't want to bump your ratings and risk you beating me. So I'll quote it instead and say that I like your post

  9. Good choice dude! I picked up a set of spare handles when I did mine. Makes life much easier for spraying.looking forward to pics
  10. Yep white are a pain to keep clean!! But I loved mine
  11. Good vid mate. I was there for most of the day but think I left before your track session as can't remember seeming any Zeds out during the public sessions. Great save about half way through!! Bet it was slippy there down the hill Onto the back straight as that's where the Evo blew a diff or something mid afternoon.
  12. What seats did you go for mate?
  13. Ah no way!! I've been looking at seat options today and found a pic earlier on a US Z with these seats. Look amazing mate!!
  14. I went up to this for the day, was a passenger in my mates Evo. We were in the same convoy with these guys as we met them on the drive up there. The owner was a great guy, his daughter was driving his 488 GT also. The convoy around the M25 was insane!! LaFerrari, 488, 2 Hurucans (sp), SLS GT3, DB9, 360 Spyder, and many others. It was an incredible experience!
  15. I was over there back in March for a long weekend. Closest thing I saw to the Z was an MX5
  16. That is very very lucky to be a 'walk away' from incident.
  17. After reading this thread for many months / years!! We can finally post up our new additions! Bought our house a year ago so can now get some cats, and after much waiting for the breeder to have availabilty / the right kittens born we collected them last Thursday. 2 x British Silver Shorthairs, Tabby girl & Spotty boy. Already have run of the house as to be expected
  18. Picked up the new light from Nissan this week and found time over the weekend to fit. Was a pretty easy job all said and done. Had a tip from a mechanic at Nissan to treat any rust under the rear lights whilst I was swapping them over. Apparently as the car drives/flexes one part of the light lightly rubs against the bodywork and can cause rust. Quick fix is to flat it back with wet&dry then cover with anti rust treatment. So whilst replacing my damaged drivers side lamp, I quickly whipped the passenger side to treat any rust. Sure enough both sides had a very smaller spot of surface rust, got rid of that and covered over the area before re-fitting the lights once dry. Also gave the area a good wipe down and clean as it was pretty mucky. Car is now back all present and correct .....pesky caravans You can almost see the spot of surface rust to the lower left of pic, just above the plastic trim.
  19. Just been pouring over my pictures from this weekend out in the sun. Couple of edits that made the grade
  20. I said similar. Would be amusing if a mechanic, many years from now, was doing something to the car....takes off an under-tray and gets covered in sprinkles
