  1. Thanks gents, I still don't think it's sunk in yet! Don't know what you mean, I'm an excellent secret keeper No, they still come with the arch extensions. But whilst getting some other work done on the car (update to follow) I started removing them. Still need to take the rears off. I don't like the look of them, much cleaner removed IMO.
  2. The smoked and red 370 fog light is smart! Shame I already ordered up a fully smoked one a little ago :/
  3. Right, Update time!! I've been trying to keep this quiet (and failing somewhat) until collection day....which is today!! I had the opportunity to get a MY17 Nismo at a very good price if oredered before Christmas. This led to the sudden sale of the LMB '70 which I was still enjoying and didn't plan to sell, but with the chance of getting a Nismo on the driveway decisions had to be made. There were a few frustrations in early Jan during prep, but everything has been sorted now and I collected Gizmo from the dealership this morning. It is still VERY early days but I am chuffed to bits with the upgrade. The styling of the MKII, seats (oh the seats!!), small touches here and there make such a big difference! I'm going to run the car in for 1,500 miles (cap at 4kRPM), then get things checked over. ^This was my comment earlier in the thread not long after getting the LMB '70. I have beaten my own 6 day record this time - the car was modified even before it was registered! More on that to follow. Here some pics to get things going, now I'm off outside to sit in it
  4. Agree with what most have said above. Cash bump at pay day or expense a nice meal or 'outing'. I usually struggle to use all my holiday days as it is (we are mega busy) so extra days is not really a help. We tend to do a few team outings reach year - go karting, clay shooting, bowling etc, followed by a nice meal and some cheeky beers. This goes down great with us Appreciate your team are a little older, but I think the gesture would be more appreciated than 'here's some cash'.
  5. Aye, but that doesn't take up too much storage space
  6. I've noticed that PB sends my laptop into overdrive when browsing through my library's. I installed an ad blocker plugin to my chrome browser and it runs great now
  7. Welcome in mate. Hope your search goes well. Beemer looks clean. Gonna go out on a limb and say 325 Granville
  8. Welcome! Car looks great, makes me miss my LMB 370z. Exhaust tips look great too! The clutch feel may be caused by the helper spring on the pedal? Can't say I noticed it, but some people remove the spring for better 'feel'.
  9. Thanks guys The car really is silly fast, and gives you such confidence when pressing on! It's a good thing I only get limited access to it, I can enjoy the power more
  10. *cough* http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/113624-for-sale-mitsubishi-evo-v-375bhp/
  11. Other than my first 2 fiesta's most of my cars have had names. White MR2 turbo called Lily, as it's white. I wanted to call it Barry but the misses didn't approve. Supra was called Suki. 350 was Bella. Lexus turbo was called Penny, from The Big Bang Theory. As they are both gorgeous! MX5 sold already? Or you having a senior moment?
  12. One of the cleanest Zeds I've seen for a while! GLWTS
  13. Just spreading the word on this. Yes not a Zed, but ya never know who is looking to buy an awesome car. The misses is selling her Evo V. Full Details below on the PH advert, but any questions please ask. Quite possibly one of cleanest Evo's for sale right now. http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/mitsubishi/lancer/mitsubishi-lancer-evo-v-gsr--375bhp/6661154
  14. After selling my 350z to buy our house, I returned with a 370z. Absolutely great car! Not that much between them power wise, but mine felt a bit sharper. Interior is a different league! Much nicer place to be. Can't comment on the auto box as mine was manual.
  15. Agree with Granville, blue stitching looks great. But why doesn't the stitching line up to the bottom right corner? Would drive my OCD up the wall
  16. Speaking to a chap a while back who had an up rev and a few decats (MD ART Pipes included) - he said they would throw the EML every now and then even though the map was supposed to clear them. But I guess it's not too much faff to clear them with an ODBII reader.
  17. Nissan can also be funny with warranty if you do any mods. I think they are generally not fussed about them. But for example, if you fit lowering springs then a shock fails they will wiggle out of the warranty. But if they are small mods it might be fine
  18. Lovely looking motor! Bet the running in period is killing you! Got any plans for her?
  19. Yeah I grabbed the hard wire kit from nextbase at the same time as wires dragging around the place really bug me!
  20. Might not be major issues, but they wouldn't put a sticker on it otherwise. Used to run mine on VPower, but know folks run Tesco 99 without problems
  21. Looks smart. I've just taken delivery of this one. A tad cheaper, but Wifi, GPS etc etc. Lovely small unit too! https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nextbase-312GW-Digital-Driving-Recorder/dp/B01ELRJW5Q/ref=pd_lpo_263_bs_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2JR9WH8ETZK1CFA3RHP9
