  1. You can still get mpsII's if you shop around. Best tyre in all conditions Just put p zeros on mine though as they were half the price!!!
  2. another fan here or should that be geek I have been totally addicted for quite a while, cant belive so few people have given it a go, E4 to blame I think! Sorry for the comments Cant remember if its the 4th or 5th series but have been watching it from the start! If you havent seen the earlier episodes you have to watch them online
  3. because they are identical down to a very tight tolerance. So the only differance between the pre and post air boxes is the tube? Exactly that " The tube" It's a velocity stack, the larger velocity stack results in less turbulent airflow between the box and the intake tube, and (speaking generally) less turbulence means better efficiency. DB Wot he just said +1
  4. Should have bent them to shape first, then there's no stress in the aluminium to lift them!
  5. If you can sell the RX8 do it now! and buy a 350Z Never a better time to buy one Test drive one and you will know what to do
  6. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2002-NISSAN-3 ... 4cfa5334bc Anyone know what this is all about ?? or is it just BS
  7. Thanks for the offer but Keith (Maccaman) beat you to it and he is just around the corner, so thanks to his generosity, I am sorted
  8. Mine has stopped working on the locking and now folds the mirrors only when the ignition is switched off. What warranty do you give with these?
  9. Suspected this was the case but its made it drivable again until it goes completely. I will get a new on order to be ready.
  10. I did this last week and it alters the position of the pedal at the bite point as well as dropping the pedal lower down at rest when fully released. Before, to release the clutch I had to take my heel off the floor which wasent the smoothest release method as my knee hit the steering wheel!. Now the clutch engages with the pedal much lower down in its travel so I can release it with an ankle movement with my heel on the floor. Slimjim you wont get mole grips in there!! its too tight to get anything other than long nose pliers in. I tried. I couldent get enough leverage on the pliers myseklf if I was down in the footwell upside down so I stuck the missus down there guiding the pliers into the correct position which I then applied pressure and turned from outside the car.
  11. Operate the switch back and forth a few times " wiggle it" it always works on mine when it sticks. I think its because if you only have one driver it rarely gets moved and the contacts gum up without use. I now try and operate mine back and forth every few weeks to keep it operational. A bit of Plusgas or WD40 wont hurt. .
  12. Cheers Keith! have left my number for you.
  13. I did see these Cragus but they are collection only from Brixton, Not much good to us midlanders
  14. Would need the wheels too! and twice as many
  15. Cheap as chips wheels and tyres wanted so i can get mine refurbed. Daily drive so it cant be off the road but need mine stripped before painting which takes a couple of days. Curbed or corroded not a problem as they dont need to be puurrrrdy. Anyone want to sell a set, or hire a set, or loan a set??????, or trade a set !!!!!!! or etc a set Will put them straight back up for no profit once used
  16. Anybody else annoyed by the position of the phone cradle and bluetooth adapter. Why put it in the middle of the only accessible storage area by the driver.?????? Anyway after a year of being annoyed I decided to move it. Just removed the bluetooth adapter and found a screw holding down the main unit once pulled out to accept a phone/adapter. Unscrewed this and the unit is free on its cable. Pulled out the mat on the bottom of the storage area and there is a hole into the area under the centre console beneath it. Tried to push it all under the console through the hole but its just too big to go through. Thought the space looked big enough so I removed the 5 screws holding the centre console in and found it was indeed big enough to stuff it all in behind the handbrake. Put the console back in and behold it still works but is now out of the way and I have somewhere to put lots more CD's. No pics as it really is that easy!!!. There must be a guide to taking out the console if you need one but I diddn't as the screws were in the obvious places, one under the ashtray, two under the gear lever trim and one each side behind the seats! Wish I had done this 10 min mod a year ago as it really makes a difference!
  17. Saw your wheels today Keith while getting an mot next door. Looked with the new black and red Nismo stickers Wheelsmart seem to have done a good job.

    Stock air box

Sounds good...what do mean no filter? As in no post 06 conversion? Mine is pre 06 anyway. How much do you want for it? I think he means there is no filter in the airbox. The airbox is just a plastic box, and will not filter anything. A decent filter will cost you about £40-£45 A post 06 box can be fitted to a pre 06 car and improves the breathing of the engine, as does a decent filter.

    Vent Trims

I have them and they are fine. Never seen the OEM so I cant compare. Just follow the instructions for cleaning as some people have had them come off. I formed mine into curves before removing the backing paper so they wont try to curl off when warm. This takes a few attempts to get them exact but is worth it IMO. Just keep offering them up and bending gently until they are the exact shape and then stick down.

    WANTED - 350z

Low mileage car @ 70K!!! You should be looking for one with 35-40k on it if you want low mileage. My 38K 54 plate UK Ginger ( with lmgt4'S) cost 8'5K last November and prices have tumbled since. Ok it had 4 previous owners and a service history with independents since its warranty ran out but the previous owner was a merc mechanic who had dealt with every niggle no matter how small. Took me 4 months to find, just have a bit of patience and be prepared to travel a few hundred miles to see a few. Don't believe the bloke who says its mint, ask specific questions on the phone, Is the bolster worn on the drivers seat, are there any car park dings, are the tyres new, is there any rust etc...etc.... Above all have patience Drive a few ( Even overpriced ones at dealers so you get a feel for what's right, how it should turn and brake. etc) And have patience. Oh & by the way................. have patience
  23. Hi Mate, Who is doing your refurb as I badly need mine doing. I have heard good and bad about the guys on the sandon road. Only issue is I dont have a spare set at the mo. Tried to buy AmyZeds but she sold them while I was away on hols. What are you doing with your spare set??
  24. Anyone got a pair they are not using?? Prefer not to have to drill holes to fit them. Other than that don't mind which type. Thanks
