Never failed an mot yet on lights and that includes home made rear clusters. Dont think your regular mot station looks for more than does it light up when I swtich it on/press the pedal etc

A bit of stiff paper or card template will do

This may be the "correct" shade of purple though Who knows?

Mine are 19" LMGT4

Just the window switches, steering wheel, and heated seat switches to do. Rest is done including the Bose which was tricky with the tiny LED's. Gone for a blue and red scheme with white dials and white needles illuminated blue. Finished interior will be ready for Lakes Zed.

Had them done smooth and without the centres turned. Be careful of the Bronze colour as the wheel cannot be touched up or blown in when being coated. I have some corrosion on the sides of the spokes which has bubbled (outgassed in the oven) slightly on the colour coat under the lacquer. Might go silver or black chrome on the next set with the centres turned too. Darker colours or silver can be filled and blown in before the lacquer goes on. overall a good job though, ill get some pics up later.
