  1. +1 I had 3 garages offer me a tade in on the 350z recently
  2. Yes the one in the light, but I will probably have to modify it to get rid of the grid lines. I may be able to get one without but the seller has not confirmed this to me yet.
  3. I'm installing a rear view camera to the 370 in the next week or so. Wondering if there is a demand for me to make a kit of parts available. It would be an OEM plug style wiring loom for plug and play to the head unit. Reversing camera without grid lines to use the premium connect grid lines as I believe they move with the steering lock if set up correctly. To include full instructions on how to access the hidden menu and set up the grid lines. An optional bit of kit would be to make it wireless so no need to run a wire from the boot through the car to the head unit. This is what I am installing on mine to see how good the transceiver is. You would need a premium connect sat nav unit ( touch screen ) to make it work. Price is likely to be around the £80-100 mark
  4. Got 327miles from the first tank in the 370 and took 71 litres to brim it again today. Mix of short and long trips Calculated MPG agrees with the dash comp ! @ 21 Average speed 17 ??????
  5. Shaun picked up his new 350z tonight. Sorry to see it go and he got a bargain after his mum pulled my pants down on the price negotiation. Waved it bye bye and heard the exhaust from a new perspective as he nailed it off down the lane. I really need a new exhaust on the 370
  6. By the same token it will be possible to fit a switch to do the same, cut off the supply to the airbag and link in a resistor. I would suggest an illuminated switch in the blank between the seats so that there is a visual warning that the airbag is off.
  7. Had the Stainless version of this on my 350z sounded ace. GLWTS Shouldn't hang around!
  8. Its the little black book the trade uses to value used cars. The 370 seems to be holding its value at the moment and is selling for more than the book market value. However as the market value is what the car is selling for, the book is not reflecting what is happening on the forecourt. Have a look at the parkers website another valuing tool. Parkers have cars for sale and tend to value the cars higher than the Cap book. although Cap is the only book the trade uses.
  9. From the bottom of that web page with the pics If your 370Z is equipped with the Pop-Up Engine Hood (Pedestrian Safety System) as found on the Australian Market 370Z models, please contact Parts@300zx.com before ordering! Additional parts required for installation! Modification/elimination of this system is required.
  10. I thought the pop up hinges were primerally for the US market. Probably had 350 hinges put on, to put the struts on as its a "show car"
  11. No pop up hinges on that 370 though ??? Do you have a price Steve ? I have some Circuit Sports 370z CF bonnet dampers coming in to stock in a few days.
  12. I got the "resale grey" I would have liked the white as I think it is stunning but as I live 4 miles down country lanes past 3 farms it would never have been clean. I also thought the red was a bit lack luster being a solid colour it never really shines in the sun. After a Sunset red ( Orange ) 350 I need a metalic colour, in the flesh the Twilight Grey is very nice and everyone comments about how good it looks. Price is about right for dealers. Paid 16K for my 10 plate 2010 with 21K miles 2 weeks ago but it was a private sale. If you look at the book value then the current market value of the 370 as a whole is 1.5 - 2 grand above Capp.
  13. The photos I have seen for some being advertised are actally fitted to 350z's not 370's so I will be interested as well.
  14. I have a set of clear strips got them from Husky ages ago and never fitted them. 350 is sold now so pm me for details if your interested in buying them.
  15. Dont bother with the red 370z they currently have in Nottingham. Described to me as immaculate and worth a 60 mile trip to see it. When I got there it had a huge dent in the drivers door (300 mm long, 80mm high, 10-15 mm deep) The sales girl said "Oh That ! well its not been prepped for sale yet we'll fix it, we are in the trade." Keys handed back 60 mile drive home!! Nuf Said
  16. Talk to Bob at Gaugecraft He will tell you all you need to know about 350z clusters. http://www.gaugecraft.com/Your%20350z%20Conversion/your-350z-conversion.html
  17. About 10% down in 10 years. 1% per year....... Losing that is not to bad. Especially as its an import so may have done many many more miles before it escaped Japan.
  18. I have a set of clusters from a non GT (base model) JDM. I have taken these apart down to circuit board level and although the solder pads are in position there are no LED's on the board neither are there cruse windows in the dial face. I have populated this board with LED's and plugged it into a UK GT car but the LED's did not illuminate although the cruse still worked. Don't know if this is relevant to your situation but its more info for you anyway.
  19. Deposit taken . Car sold to fellow member I'm sure he will be along to tell you all what you missed once he collects on Tuesday.
  20. If your after a red one there's one for the right price in South Wales with a few more miles which looks (maybe wish I had waited)
  21. First one overpriced despite the low mileage but the best colour. Second one dont bother - has a big dent in the drivers door ( went to see the "mint" car myself just a wasted 120 mile round trip.)
