Modified or std?
I could get mine down to £186 as standard but the insurer wouldn't touch a modified car, to get my remap, cats, exhaust and intakes wheels etc etc I used Chris Knottt who came out miles ahead at £300
Not wanting to Pi** on your bonfire, this is a good price for what they go for ----- but ----- Anyone can do this to their own lower plenum.
Its a DIY job to turn a std one into this with a grinder and a steady hand.
Its mainly removing material from the top of the drivers side front intake putting a flat on the top of it.
There is a little more porting and finesse on a genuine one but you can get 90% of the gains just with the flat spot.
If you cant afford this then get your grinder out.
Its not easy and there is a risk your dash will be toast but it is DIYable
I did mine and was offering a service but people didnt want to pay so when I sold the 350 this went by the wayside.
It depends a lot on the mileage and condition, but I was looking in Feb also and £15.5K was the lowest price a non cat D was going for.
I saw some right dogs for around this.
If you can sell after 6 months and get your money back then IMO thats a good deal
Looking for a slightly lower stance to go with my new wheels and spacers,
What have you got? second hand, low mileage or new.
Cant go too low as its a daily drive.
Well at your age in 1990 I sold up, packed in my fast track promotion heavy job, put everything I owned in a rucksack and bugg ered off around the world for 2 years.
No regrets.
Don't chase the wage, Chase the lifestyle.
It all works out in the end.
