  1. Sounds like a great idea, protect the front from stone chips. http://solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/3M-Automotive/Aftermarket/Our-Brands/Scotchgard-Pro-Series/#WhereToUsePPF Sounds to good to be true, like the price would be astronomical.
  2. Happy Birthday Dan. Some funny comments on this thread

If you've had your car mapped for de-cats do you guys think changing back to original CATs will be ok? E.g won't harm the engine?
  7. First thing i did before tracking my zed was change the brake fluid to DOT 4. Last thing you want on track is brake issues. Also worth checking your pads, destroyed mine the first time out. When you thinking of going Oulton? Might join you

    Breaks squeal

I'd ordered shims from Ewen for my 350, stopped them squeaking
  14. Thanks for your help Mark. Shame I'd ordered the sandwich plate this afternoon. Not to worry Think this is it? Bolt above the place the filter unit bolts too:
  15. I use ctek on mine.. Works great, leave it on charge most of the time.
  16. Let me know if you find the problem, mine knock at the back 😒 Starting to get used to it now. keep thinking about going for poly bushes but been advised it's not worth the money.
  17. cant see a problem with draining and reusing the oil - even if you buy brand new perfectly clean bucket and then bin it afterwards it wouldn't be more than a fiver, certainly cheaper than fresh oil. Actually starting to think i could take off the oil filter and current sandwich plate, they're higher than the oil pan so can probably get away without losing that much oil. Then i've got spare oil to top-up to the correct level after. Ordered a SPA digital gauge http://www.spa-uk.co.uk/Category/Digital%20Gauges Now just need to workout the correct sandwich plate to order, would be great to get one that my goodridge hoses and the temprature gauge plug direcly into. Please talk on the forum about piggybacking two.
  18. Hi Mark, The car is a 2005 350 DE (Old school)
  19. What gauge and sandwich plate did you get mate? Might do the same just have 2.
  20. I've kinda messed up Added a bigger oil pan and oil cooler: Filled the car with oil and did a track day, happy to report my install held together perfectly with no leaks The problem being rushing the job and not thinking i didn't add an oil temperature gauge... Anyone got any advise on the simplest one to add? Do i have to drain all the oil again? (Wasn't cheap the stuff i put in and it's only done one track day) Wish i gone for an oil sump ready for a temperature gauge to be added.
  21. I've still got my 350 would be good to catchup with local Zed people
  22. Mine's lowered get loads of noise from the suspension, mainly at the back would love to know the fix. Thinking about poly bushes
