  6. Hi Ewan27, go for a track day I took my 350 for its first track day not long ago.... I’d up rated the brake lines and changed the fluid would defo recommend changing the fluid to one with a higher boiling point. Can't imagine hitting the brake on a track and the peddle going to the floor because you've boiled the fluid. mine ran like a dream all day but did eat the pads, some scraping noise on the way home when i hit the brake. woops my fault should have changed the pads, done now ready for the next track experience.
  7. like the comparison Wasso.. funny. would like to see the same shoot out in the dry, maybe round the ring, not sure the outcome would be the same.
  8. Pads done well easy just abit cold Well happy the 350 is back on the road, old pads were well worn at the back. Woops No more scraping noise, disk look fine might get them replaced next. Went for some portfield race pads from garage whifbits will let you know what they are like.
  9. good old brembos, lovin them more and more
  10. Just hope its that easy, that you can push back with you hands. Done cars in the past no problem... however did an Audi A3 and you need a tool to wind it back as it turns as its going back, its a right pain
  11. Thats the one copper grease couldn't think of what it was called. Ta
  12. Just a question for everyone.... is changing the pads on a 350 as easy as it looks on youtube? e.g. remove the two pins push back the caliper (with the top off the fluid bottle) then slot the new ones in? also going to get some high temp grease to go on the back of the pads.. not sure what to get yet
  13. I changed my brake lines and got some better fluid before my first track day, so glad i did! would have crapped myself to have the brake pedal hit the floor did eat my pads on the day, just waiting for some new ones to arrive, sick of waiting for them to be delivered can't drive the 350
  14. Can't believe the F1 is going to SKY next year! Bloody bernie money grabbing ecclestone Hope Hamilton grabs pole tomorrow or Button that would make a nice change bring on a Mclaren front row
  15. R.I.P Marco Don't understand why his helmet came off, really sad hope they now improve the safety! Things like this airbag suit should be cheap and mandatory maybe?:
  16. Yer they look good might have to get some of them ordered Thanks I'll get some pics up when i get them off my bros camera, also waiting for the track day pics to be posted on www.tracksideimage.com
  17. Did my first track day yesterday Was simply awesome, the 350 was amazing well quick and she lasted all day with no issue! (Did get abit hot!) You've got to try Rockingham, fantastic circuit! brakes were brilliant really impressed with the old brembos, did all day with no problems until i went home. My fault knew the pads were low so drove home with the rear scrapping Don't think its damaged the disk so will get some new pads ordered ASAP Any suggestions on good pads? ones that will take the track wear think the standard ones wore down too quick. Also the plastic under tray appears to have dropped down any ideas on this? should i get a better one of just new screws all round?
  18. This is a great post, just done it myself over the weekend, alot of screws make sure you have a good philips screw driver! Plus don't do it in the dark like me. Apart from that, sounds really good. not sure if i should have cut the wire to the motors or not, turn up the music and i can't hear it anyway Just need to finish off putting the wire to the armrest, hopfully that will be easy.
