Well if his had a remap, then its quite possible he would have a print out to prove the BHP. I was also under the impression that after a remap the EML would stay off as the ECU would recognise the new upgrades so seems strange to that its on. Can see the induction kit, but IMHO the tips of that exhaust look standard, although someone with a sharper eye can tell you that.

Although it looks lovely, and is clean inside, I personally would never buy with viewing.

I'm guessing that none of the system is getting power, it used to make a bong sound and say phone on the stereo display, now it does nothing and goes straight to the radio. Therefore I would say that the car isn't recognising the system at all. Looks like professtional help may be the answer. Even though id hate myself if I did it.

cheers guys, I really do not know how you find this stuff , its help locate all the pieces of the puzzle, but no closer to solving it, inside the box in the 'secret compartment' is a very very small and complex looking circuit board that I just don't want to get involved with. Ill have to test mine with someone else's I think. At least that will confirm something for me.

secret compartment? Ok ill have a look now, what do I need to do to access it?

Hey guys.

I'm not sure how this happened, all I can think is that I disconnected my battery when I worked on the car, but for a while now the Bluetooth hasn't worked, steering wheel buttons do nothing and there is no LED alight from the module itself.

Iv had a look at the fuses, cant see a blown one, but does it have its own secret fuse or does anyone have any ideas.

just wondering do these have certain heat ranges for more or less modded cars? My car is pretty standard but im really intrested.

For my 10 pense worth I do not believe in stricking, I'm not alowed to! However I do believe that when you start a job you know what the pay and pension is, therefore it shouldn't change, for example train drivers know their pay before so shouldnt moan after.

The teachers side to me is differant as they knew the pay ect and now it's been taken away which is wrong. Problem is everyone is in a bad way right now, and something has to be done, the goverment can't win!

30mm on springs it is. thanks guys.

If you just want a drop, then springs are the perfect way to go. They are simply a plug and play solution.

As well as providing a drop, they will stiffen the car, slightly improving handling.

 

a 40mm drop is excessive in my opinion, and will be detrimental to the cars handling.

Not to mention, the near impossibility of driving on any road that isn't perfectly flat.

I had a 35mm drop at the front, and couldn't go anywhere with steep inclines!

Couple of knowledgeable people saying 30mm drop, so I think that what I'm gonna go for I like the idea of springs because they are alot cheaper so I will go for that I think

30mm is about the max you should drop.

I'm haveing a bit of a head F**K sorting out what to get suspension wise, i'm doing this purely for looks, although im expecting the handling to get at least a bit better.

so my problem, after a very long time searching on here and other sites i still cant decide to go for just springs or coilovers, if so which ones.

im looking for about a 40mm drop on the rear little less on the front, my budget is up £700 TOP!
