  1. Believe it or not, 2 of those in the family as well (brother-in-law and niece - albeit they are both 1.3s). Bulletproof.
  2. Strangely, I find myself drawn in the opposite direction and it is the rear of the 370 I find particularly tempting However, I can't afford one so I must stop looking at at once and have a cold shower and then beat myself with some twigs.
  3. 1993-1997 series Toyota Corolla. Despite the age you will see more of these than any other car from that era still going strong. My son has one, I have one, my daughter's sister-in-law has one - all 3 are 19 years old or more and no garage can find anything wrong with them. You still have to pay between £600-£800 for a decent one though. The underneath of all of ours are better than the 350Z and all 3 live outside. Boring but true
  4. I used to think my car was quite shiny ... not any more....yours looks stunning
  5. Great pictures again. GT40 looks brilliant
  6. Don't worry if you don't get many more bids now until the end. It's often the case that one or two people will bid around the start price just to "get their names on to the board" and on basis they might get lucky. You will probably find it all happens in the last minute to 30 seconds. Am watching with interest.

Looks great My only concern would be the same as the others - the tyres. In particular I don't recognise the side wall of the tyre on the front - I'm wondering if its some sort of budget jobbie. Good luck
  8. Thanks again bud, I thought I'd updated the V5 tick box I'll double check. Again this is where a forum like this really does pay off. Sorry - yes you have - I hadn't refreshed the screen
  9. 18 is a reasonable number and a good start but you just need to bear in mind that other Almera sellers might watch to see how yours goes .. plus you may have some forum members from here who are now watching it - like me - ... plus maybe some of your friends or relations who know about it? If you get to mid to top 20s I think that will be encouraging and is likely to include some proper potential buyers. My betting is (assuming you edit the V5 thing) that you will get a good price.
  10. I always let mine run to the end and politely decline offers received in the meantime. So far it has always paid off for me by quite a margin. Good luck I think 1800 to 1 means they are probably fine! If you get any time I think it would pay you to add some more detail to the advert - my questions would be to do with any maintenance or service history - maybe some more photos (inside etc) - plus are there any significant parts that might be better than people expect - eg tyre tread remaining, exhaust etc. Also there is no "Yes" against V5 document which might imply you don't have a logbook which will worry some/many people. If you have got one I would definitely get the "Yes" in there. Also its worth proposing a deposit to be paid in so many days and car to be collected and paid for within, say, seven days. This reduces the risk of you being messed about for very long.
  11. The route I would advise is: The main road to Pharmacie Move on to Pacquet Tear round Foile Roll up to Ende Hope this helps.
  12. Nice photos. Looks like an interesting location.
  13. Great colour and a roadster as well. Such taste.
  14. Sorry - didn't see the plate - it was 2 cars behind me.
  15. Congratulations . Having been in a similar situation before (albeit for nowhere near as long) it is great that you have managed to extricate yourself from this situation. I also worked my notice period in full with a large smile on my face - I wanted to go out with my head held high. The next 9 years I had at the new company turned out to be the best I had - so I hope the same happens with you. To be able to look forward to going into work is a major thing in your life. Recognition of your value and knowledge will be a real boost for your confidence and, ironically, the experience you have been through will be a source of strength in the future (ie. whatever happens going forward you will be able to say - well it wasn't as bad as before).
