Gosh I never see the point of this sort of thing but everyone to their own.

Everything SMD and Will said is true. It isn't just about numbers - more consistent throttle response and fuelling particularly noticeable in lower gears, more torque throughout the range - just more responsive all round. Noise - subtle when you need it - noisy when you want it but nice noisy not horrible noisy.

+1 to Autoglym kit. If I wanted to renovate/recolour I would use black Renovo Soft Top Reviver (the one for Canvas/Mohair etc).

It was only a small job I know but they were very helpful this morning. I wanted the mixed bag of tyres carefully taken off my newly acquired Rays. Despite being short staffed and with a number of bookings they managed to fit me in immediately and it was all done in minutes for a very sensible payment

I now have them. Overall in very good condition, one has a bit more kerbing but all are perfectly useable for now. Tyres are all legal but 3 different makes but this is not an issue because I'll swap my 050As over. Honourable chap because he had a lot of interest but took account of me being first.

As far as I know he cuts them out of his copies of Spanking Weekly.
