  1. True. I've had cars towed / clamped for people before. There is a sign saying it will happen so don't screw at me! ( I am a manager in retail) Good for you I'm 100% with Chesterfield on this one - particularly re disabled spaces.

    GT / Non Gt!?

Congratulations. Glad it worked out so well in the end.
  3. I'm obviously guessing but looking at the picture of your car and assuming which version it is and taking account of your RR printout which probably needs to be adjusted to give you a flywheel bhp - so add, say, 35 to 258 = 293 bhp appx, maybe, probably That sort of figure might make sense.
  4. Oh well, it only cost £4 in total. I doubt if I would go out of my way to do it again - it was just because they were changing the wheels and tyres over.
  5. Sorry barryrob78. I've been looking for a long time. The next best value decent ones were £400 and then £442 but often they can be £500-£600. SMD - I was asking for that. If it stops raining I'll take some. Would September be ok?
  6. Yes they do. I didn't do it for looks but I do really like the appearance of them now they're on.
  7. Please do not concern yourself unduly on my account. I am only using the nitrogen to fill my tyres. When it comes to doing Jack, I am sure Jill is still happy to do the honours
  8. Thanks brillomaster and DoogyRev. I've always had a bit of a hang-up about ride quality for a road car. Given the state of the roads I derive greater handling confidence from a car that also rides well. So, by the sound of it, in theory it may help ride quality but it is probably not that noticeable - still I'll take whatever I can get.
  9. I have read the various threads on Nitrogen filled tyres. I had my 050As filled with Nitrogen but stupidly I did it at the same time as a number of other things so I cannot really judge what difference it has made to ride quality (specifically). Here is my theory based on what I have read so far: Nitrogen filled tyres react less to heat expansion than air filled ones. That being so, when the tyres get hot the pressures would remain lower, therefore the ride quality should be better. Would that be right?
  10. You did, indeed. Your track record is 100% so far ARBs may be next on the agenda but that is probably next year (budget wise) but after I have looked into it properly.
  11. Many people do have them but I don't want compromise the set up, get more scrub or tramlining, so I'm leaving them as they are.
  12. Thanks to TyreCity in Coulsdon again, I have now swapped my standard 18†wheels for my newly acquired Rays. Obviously the theory was that with considerably less unsprung weight and sheer momentum, the suspension, dampers, brakes, engine etc all have to do a lot less to achieve their same ends - so that was just a simple fact. However, as much as that, I was looking for a more nimble feel to the car (of which I had a small clue with the winter 17â€s on). All I can say is Thanks to the normal crew who said it would be so And yet again, thanks to bkjmr who spotted the Pistonheads advert (£275) and was kind enough to post it on here, even though he didn’t want any himself Following the excellent lead of Builder49 I've I'm clicking the old “Donate†button above. This is a great place
  13. So you guys, how does the uprev compare with the viagra, as I have only tried the uprev - is it better/worse/about the same My reputation is being besmirched with talk about: - age (I was around 60% of the combined age quoted). - giggling like a schoolgirl in an underground car park - viagra - as if, I ask you, titter ye not missus anyway.....to answer your question...you would need to consult Will if you need confidential advice
  14. Yes Sarnie, having read it properly I now see the wording is "recommended", albeit with the following accompanying text qualifying what you should do if you use normal unleaded: "Have the fuel tank filled only partially with unleaded regular gasoline, and fill up with unleaded premium gasoline as soon as possible. Avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration. However, for maximum vehicle performance, the use of unleaded premium gasoline is recommended".
  15. Thanks Will and glrnet There is always the danger you will be disappointed because your expectations are so high - hence why I checked it all out with SMD first. I am reasonably certain now that I am staying with the 350Z for a long time. The last time I felt like this about a fun car was when I had an Alfasud Ti (although there is no obvious comparison!) That was the only car I have had for more than 3 years (with the exception of the day-to-day old Toyota Corolla auto which is now 19 years old). Only future plans are HEL/HKS lines and probably Eibach or similar ARBs. It is unlikely that I will go with any cosmetic stuff - I can't really justify the cost.
  16. Good luck. It's an excellent advert, which it needs to be in the present market. One small observation - against the bit about using Super Unleaded you have suggested that this wasn't necessary but Super Unleaded is the recommended fuel for the car. You might want to change that (unless you meant that you used 98 when only 97 is necessary?)
  17. It is true. I have never had so much fun whilst clothed
