  1. Now that the 3 rampant parties have gone for a cold shower I thought I would say to the OP: to the club - albeit you may be wondering what sort of club you have joined
  2. Great news - glad it all got sorted in the end
  3. Not sure - it was a quick glance and I was some way away. They looked fairly short though, whoever they were.
  4. Sorry to hear about all the problems you are having. Some of it defies belief. Hope you get it sorted soon.
  5. Whoops I meant 1971 - the release of "A Nod's as good as a wink to a blind horse". I am now going to take a couple of valium before the nurse arrives.
  6. This is the most exciting thing that has happened to me since 1973.
  7. If that refers to me, then I'm flattered and await your further instructions.
  8. Gosh - I can't even get my mother-in-law to correctly name the makes or models of any car I have ever bought - she only mentions them by colour.
  9. These particular ones may have. They only have one, so its "the...." I stand corrected (no... corrected). How very dare you
  10. SMD should get a special award for ratio of pictures to posts and speed of publishing same

    Richmond Hill

Looking good From many years ago I think I remember "The Lass of Richmond Hill" - it was a pub by the way. Is it still there?
  12. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Dave but I just wanted to send my best wishes.
  13. Whoops. Didn't read original note properly. Mine is a DE not an HR.
  14. It's perfectly reasonable that you don't want to them yourself - there is a bit more to them to changing them on a Morris Minor - there are individual coil packs to remove and some of them are awkward to get at. My plugs were last changed by Abbey Motorsport as part of a P3 service. Abbey are highly regarded as an independent specialist. The time quoted was 1.3 hours plus VAT - so the cost for the labour should be 1.3 X labour rate for the garage which will vary enormously depending on who they are and where they are. Yes you can get cheap plugs - but it is not unusual to be paying £60-70 for the recommended plugs to be supplied by the fitting garage. What you may be able to do is get the right plugs from someone like Zmanalex for a cheaper price and then get the right garage to fit them if they are happy to do so.
  15. You are obviously very keen. Perhaps you could try stripping down the Z and taking it on the bike for a serious challenge?
  16. Yes.. as said earlier the traction control is of the fairly relaxed/not very interventionist fashion.
