1. Sort of thing that would appeal to me if it were much older and therefore much cheaper. I don't give a monkey's about all the superfluous cobblers. In other words I would be perfectly happy with "poverty spec". Past ownership of a 2CV puts these things in perspective
2. There are people far more qualified than me to help but I just wanted to wish you well with sorting out the issues with your car.
3. A Mod since 2009 - that is a good stint to put it mildly. Thank you for all your efforts. A Skyline 350GT has 4 seats (I am also trying to be a grown up grandfather).
4. Yes....Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili.
5. Sad. All the best with your future plans.
6. Great news. Well done. And fingers crossed that all is well with the rebuild.
7. Personally I would happily sacrifice a few HP for some noise particularly intake noise.
8. Am still following with great interest. My next door neighbour c1969 had one and I am certain his panel gaps weren't that consistent He had everything, the E-Type, a very lovely wife and lots of cash (he was in the print). He was a nice guy as well - often gave me rides from one place to another - I cannot tell you how impressed I was (I had a Standard 10 at the time).

Alfa... just...

I love it but them I'm not terribly objective when it comes to Alfas. I love them all (well maybe the Arna wasn't their finest hour).
10.
Don't even try FX, lots of volatility on the market. Try S&P, FTSE, DJI/Wallstreet, DAX etc. Prepare to invest in something like http://ransquawk.com, keep an eye on http://www.marketwatch.com. As Alex said, any money invested in there consider it lost. Don't top it up, if lose big, take a deep breathe and walk away, don't top it up When you're in profit, take the money, stand up and walk away, don't trade again that day, don't be greedy Start here: http://www.cityindex.co.uk Start reading so you can understand the market, why it happens, what's the events calendar etc. Hope this helps, good luck. Adrian
Quite a lot of golden nuggets of good advice there. Yes, form your own views based on research. Don't give any more weight to opinion just because it comes from someone called an "analyst". Try to focus on something in an area/industry/business that you understand, if you can. Over time you will develop instinct - try to follow it (not as easy as it sounds).
11. Reminds me of my dream for a Lotus 7 (subsequently Caterham 7) which began as a schoolboy and was only finally realised more than 30 years later I was also an avid brochure collector (that was all I could afford) and I visited the original showroom many times over the years. Good luck with your search
