  1. and good luck with the "misfire" problem.
  2. Can only echo what the others have said. Originally mine came with a kit of parts and tools including helical plastic hoses. They are incredibly annoying. You are in some awkward place....put the tool somewhere for 1 second and the next minute it's in Leatherhead
  3. It kind of reminds me of a Lambo Countach driver from years ago who took his car up the Brooklands test hill with hundreds of us public watching. He was just a regular punter like all the others but a bit heavy on the personal jewellery front. He floored it and careered immediately into the grass banking at the side ripping the front of the car off and scattering the specatators' thermos flasks and Chiltonian fingers. He then drove up the rest of the hill and didn't reappear.But...we hung around for a while after the test hill run had finished and when he thought everyone had gone he came and sheepishly picked up various car parts from the grass where the marshals had left them
  4. It's probably quite disconcerting facing the wrong way at that point
  5. http://jalopnik.com/watch-a-ferrari-458-spider-spin-out-and-crash-while-pas-451486027?utm_campaign=socialflow_jalopnik_facebook&utm_source=jalopnik_facebook&utm_medium=socialflow Hopefully not a repost.
  6. If it's an out and out track car for that money I'd go for a Westfield but then I'm biased.
  7. The more I look at them the more I also think that lighter is the way to go. Having said that....what I know about wheels or any external mods could be written on an Amoeba's Beret label I seem to be going in a different direction to everyone else - hoping that size doesn't matter

    LaFerrari

I suspect the design will work really well in the flesh. Sometimes photos from some angles don't help. BBK giving up sex for the rest of his life doesn't seem much of a trade....it's worth more than that surely
  9. I'm not at all sure - I think the colours don't quite complement each other. Maybe another shade. As Ekona said...maybe darker...but even then might not be quite the right combination.
  10. Thanks to Mark, Tony, Scott and co. CEL came on on way back from Goodwood. Just turned out to be rear Lambda sensor - now turned off. But also great coffee and chat covering everything from A40s, Minis, Escorts, 370s manual and autos, GT86s, Elises, etc, etc. I could actually spend all day listening to that stuff You tend not to get that at your local Dealer
  11. I also use the Autoglym kit...I use the protector about every 3 months. Mine lives outside but is still in very good nick.
  12. Love orange. I had an orange Caterham and it was my favourite colour - it had the "blackpack" - so screen surround, wheels, mirrors etc were black. Can't wait to see some more
  13. Continue to watch with great interest
  14. +1 ...if properly maintained they are capable of very high mileages
  15. As much as I like the Zed, part of the reasoning is because it gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine was bought after it had lost nearly two thirds of it's initial value - and I share costs/use 50% with someone else. It's hard to beat on that basis. However, if money was no object I suspect it would disappear fairly quickly but with very happy memories of a really very good all rounder
