  1. I find it difficult to advise you as I stopped racing people away from the traffic lights when I was about 17. But my observations are as follows: 1. With an automatic you only have one pedal to push very hard towards the floor 2. With a manual you have to work two pedals and the lever/knob thingy so it's quite a challenge And a sensible observation ....the 350Z is not particularly built for 0-25 mph particularly with the original throttle map in the first three gears. May I suggest one of these Fords instead:
  2. A Goodmans 6R4 engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtZ-Zbw4Sdk But maybe the twin turbo Rallycross version - 700-800bhp
  3. Indigo is a "deep and bright" shade of blue
  4. If I think about it rationally (a first) I struggle to think of what I would now change to - for every upside there would be one or more downsides. The Zed is a really good all rounder that can be maintained at reasonable cost, is fairly rare, sounds good, goes pretty well and is easy to live with. If I hadn't the Alfas, Caterhams or the Elise I would have always wanted one of those at some point I had yearned for a Caterham (Lotus 7 as it then was) from about 1966...but I've got that out of my system now. Budget is a big factor for me. Bar one they were £10k or a lot less.... but crucially I have been lucky from a reliability point of view. If money and sense and life expectancy was no object I would want a 6R4 built to tarmac rally spec.
  5. Your are welcome. I imagine it is ok to do with AG shampoo but I have always done mine with clear water just in case any marks were left.
  6. The waggling may have been her practicing her positioning skills.
  7. Yes ..but if it's in good nick you can just protect. If it ever needs renovation and recolouring the Renovo stuff is very good - just make sure you get the right one for the material your roof is made of.
  8. Autoglym do a cleaning and protection kit which is very good - most people (including me) seem to use that.
  9. You can normally get second hand Rays for £400-600 which is pretty good considering how much they cost new... sometimes even with tyres on!
  10. There are plenty out there and the prices vary considerably. The didn't all have Rays but they are worth having as are considerably lighter. One advantage of the Zed is they are rarer so you don't see one every 5 minutes. GT is normally leather heated seats, Bose and Cruise Control.
  11. It would seem unlikely that he will trouble the scorers on Mastermind.
  12. Given your last posting may I crave your indulgence by granting me the new and recently introduced "Ekona Seal of Approval" ? I also wish to know if it is like a Royal Warrant - would I then have it "permanently" until removed or is it only awarded on a post-by-post basis. Or perhaps there are certain qualifications I might need - like matching tyres all round (which I hasten to say I have ....but only Avons)? I look forward with some anticipation to your reply
