  1. It's good to see the old 1100/1300...my father in law had the Vanden Plas version I bet you are impressed
  2. I must have been lucky - only positive comments so far...from friends and strangers alike.
  3. I may have a Y pipe around somewhere. I'll look for it (and at the condition) tomorrow and PM you.
  4. It's your call. If you are on a tight budget and want to keep the fronts you may be better to get the Toyos as the nearest match. However, the tyres are just about the most important part of the car...so just drive to the conditions or tyres you have. For normal, sensible driving this should not be an issue at all.
  5. Ideally you don't want tyres with disparate grip levels or tread patterns between the back and front.
  6. Notwithstanding the fact that I have Avons on now and Bridgestone 050As on the Rays when I use them, if I was starting again now I would have MPSS because they pretty much have everything going for them.
  7. Normally tetchiness happens in the winter (it used to on Blatchat). Maybe that was because less Caterham drivers went out in the winter. Anyway - peace on you.
  8. I feel safer on the roads today knowing that so many of our members are so careful
  9. Is a 245/45/18 rear Dunlop SP Max (but with 4.75 to 5mm tread left on it) any use to you at all? I'm guessing probably not? Anyway I thought I would mention it. You can have it for nothing from Old Coulsdon. No punctures or damage.
  10. Based on what you have said so far I would also put my money on rear anti-roll bar drop links.
