For what it's worth my co-owner/driver went on one of these courses and felt it was beneficial and it has impacted on his driving in a positive way.

With only 2 days to go before mine goes - 3.5 years later my overall impression has been Considering how much you can buy them for, there are very few downsides from my perspective. I just needed an auto and my co-owner has always fancied an XK8 (the standard exhaust of which seems too quiet......OMG here we go again).

This is a bit like Monty Python's 4 Yorkshiremen sketch: "You think that's bad.........." Or good...in this particular case Perhaps future postings should start with... "You think that's good (or bad)...." then the appropriate text e.g. "You think that's good - I drove from St Ives to Aberdeen and back, didn't fill up once and ended up with more petrol than I started with"
