  1. how did this go only just seen this thread and would of been interested in entering somin, is there any more challenges planned
  2. Well it took a while to do using the heat gun and the only problem is then heating the surrounding plastic to much and deforming that, as i say if you have someone that can help will make it much easier, as a another point if its only condensation could you not remove the light take the bulbs etc out then heat the inside with a hairdryer to remove condensation then run some black silicone around the seals to seal any holes save taking it apart.
  3. Yeah not having an oven they would fit in and having to use a heat gun was a pain would be easier if you had someone to help and a suction pad then one could heat the seal while the other one gently pulls apart from one corner working across if you know what i mean.
  4. Couple of better ones, still getting to much reflection in the lens.
  5. was just having a quick look, and im sure i seen it in a propper post somewhere on the net when i was searching before buying one, but a quick search resulted this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index ... 523AAvcY4V
  6. Thanks Mate was a pain in the arse to do as the instructions i had said about baking the headlight in an oven for 8 mins at 250 but there was no way a zed headlight would fit in my oven so the trusty heat gun had to come out. Next i need to get a yellow overflow pipe for the rad and to change the blue hoses on the intake for yellow ones. Anyone no a good place to get these. there are also a few other bits under the bonnet i painted yesterday to match and i have a bolt set from chilli on the way.
  7. Got a few things i been wanting to get done this weekend, first on the list was fitting the plenum spacer that had been sitting on top of my wardrobe for 2 months but while doing that done a few other bits and bobs. Before After well that lot took up saturday, so on sunday did this Before After. Unfortunately it was 1.30am at this point and had to leave last few bolts out till morning and was too dark to get a propper picture, and it needs a clean now more so than before.
  8. In case anyone else needs some these look a good deal. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Draper-38716-33 ... 02&sr=8-20
  9. Yep this is not about fitting cruise control rather fitting the controls to allow multi maps to be run. although having trouble finding a torx plus bit to remove current steering wheel. does anyone no the correct bit TR?
  10. for a uk plate you can easily cut the bracket down so it fits
  11. Whats the price on this please? and payment details
  12. As title im after a cruise control panel from the steering wheel with wires to connect to the loom. Rodge
  13. I think i know where the confussion comes from as i remember reading some stuff on the internet when i was looking into buying one, although i cant remember where, it stated that the fairlady version was a turbo'd 350z and that was the difference betweent them obviously this is wrong but could lead to confusion for some people.
  14. Hi Mark, After some clarification, i believe i cant have multi maps as i have a 276bhp JDM Manual without cruise control is this correct, or is there another way to install this, can i install the components needed to have multimaps do you know? will be looking for a uprev in october.
  15. I's an optima yellow top that a good price for one really they a dry cell deep cycle battery with a custom spiral cores, they have alot higher cca and are designed for large ice systems or high drains on the battery system, you can basically leave the system o n for a long time with out the engine running and it will still start, and the ice system wont kill the battery like it does with standard batteries basically this battery should last much much longer than a standard lead acid battery
  16. just found this so think i will get one of these seeing as i have alot of ice, http://www.tayna.co.uk/Optima-Yellow-To ... P3804.html
  17. thanks guys will pop in the autocentre on way home and have a look then.

Sorry if it has been answered before but i could not find an answer searching. Rodge

Rodgeevans 2. Customs Inc 3. 4. 5.
  22. there is a fitting guide put together by RTbiscuit in the guides section i believe but it is a very easy job to do, the unit works by pressing a button on the remote which folds the license plate away either under the front or through the bumper. resulting in a totally clean front end til you press the button again and it folds back out, there is a many a youtube videos demonstrating it.
  23. sorry i wasn't sure on the rules on that and as that one seemed dead i put it there knowing if it was wrong someone would move it sorry again. link now added and i have requested some more photos as there is only one on the advert so i'll see what he sends me.
