  8. i was gonna try use the space for a sub too but seeing as i already had a 15" and a 12" sub that cost me a fortune i couldn't warrant buying another. So for the time being i use the space for my amps and crossovers, and the other side has the brain for my head unit under the false floor and a ps2 under the carpet in the tray and the cd change on top.

  12. Small update changed the valve cover on the Near side of the car was good fun to do as this was the first time i had to anything mechanically on the car other than the plenum spacer. first of had to remove the plenum upper and lower. then the valve cover i started putting it back together then realised i hadn't but silcone gasket sealer in the required places so back apart again next i tried fitting my Wepon-R PAS tank which is series one so had the wrong size outlets on it but with bit of modification and brute force managed to get the hose on. engine bay now looks like this. Next was to fit the new grill from Zmanalex which meant cutting the old one out which was a five minute job thanks to a brilliant power tool my friend had a quick file down of the edges and the new one was added I know it needed a wash. then finally i have changed the carpet in the boot for a propper 350z boot carpet and changed the strut cover for a new one i had colour coded next up i have some 370 side indicators to fit.

  20. yeah thats the problem alot of these machines are made by the poor on production lines in the far east and they are very willing to accept bribes to add stuff into them for this sort of thing its a big problem many dont understand
  21. the stubby is not standard on the zed and it is most likely this causing the bad reception if its a cheap ebay one.
  22. Working in an industry where counterfiet goods are very common i often have to go to conferences on counterfiet goods and these are so obviously counterfiet from just looking at the markings etc even the dial markers dont align. As others have said report to trading standards as it is illegal to sell counterfiets, also as mentioned inform Apexi and any other company he is selling products for as they can make ebay remove the listings and if he is found to have multiple he can be banned from the site. On another note the seller may not be fully aware that they are counterfiet as there is no law against it in china etc and there are whole shopping centres selling counterfiet items, if he is buying them through a site like alibaba then he proberly thinks they are genuine and has no idea he is braking the law, i know someone that ordered aload of HKS caps off the net and paid a fair price for them too only to find out at the tail end of last year they were fakes and had to be removed from ebay enforced by HKS themselves, although i couldn't tell any difference between the fakes and the real one i got from Sumo Power they were spot on in every way to. Counterfieters are getting better all the time and the set you got is a poor example of the skills they now posscess and it wont be long before the fakes are impossible to spot by the end user unfortunately. A story at one conference told how the US department of defence had installed some cisco units in the Pentagon i think it was that contained counterfiet items
  23. yeah i agree with that, that makes most sense too so who wants to sell their n2 bumper cheaply lol
  24. im not sure fly eyes will even pass now as they still obvously affect light output. although reading the washer bit more carefully. HID headlights can cause dazzle if they are dirty or aimed too high so car manufacturers must fit headlamp cleaning and levelling systems. A car will fail if a mandatory headlamp cleaning or levelling system is missing, doesn't work or is obviously defective. Vehicles fitted with aftermarket HID systems must also be fitted with properly working washer and levelling systems. that to me suggests new cars must have it and possibly new imports, but i dont think it will be forced on older cars as it states manufactures must fit them not owners, its not an aftermarket kit, i think it will be like rear seatbelts if the car was never made with them you dont have to have them
  25. Also looks as if any sort of light tinting is now a fail front and rear if i am reading it correctly
