the other half also got the rear spats from EPRacing to for me for christmas and on test fit they are spot on to, really pleased as thought i would have to do some work to fit them.
-
On first fit this one was really good to be honest, i havent at this stage drilled any of the fixing holes so it is being pushed down slightly by the mountings on the wing but it was pretty much spot on going take minimal if any work to get it fitted when we get some decent weather most work will be if i decide to fill in the badge recess

Posted in my original topic first then saw this today i recieved my bargin of the year so here it goes Right managed to find a UK heater control brain The white box behind the heater controls on ebay for 99p bargin price as most seem to go for quite a lot of money normally. Knowing that this is what sends a signal to the tripple gauges i thought it worth while to buy and fit and see if it fixed the clock not working. for information The numbers on the unit were 27760 CF005. Any way cut a long story short i fitted the unit this evening and the --:-- that randomly flashes or stays constant has been replaced with a working clock pictures of unit -

i will look into that, when the weather improves i will take some better photos for you see if it helps make your mind up

the grounding kit i made off the car, just a simple job of cutting wire to length, then slide heatshrink over but leave extra on due to shrinkage apply heat then crimp your terminals on and install on the car. the loom part on the side was a bit tricker, but i removed the cables from the distribution point of the battery removed all the air box and engine coverand freed the cables from all the clips, then slid the heat shrink over the plastic condiut which can be quite tricky if you go all the way then apply the heat then try to re assemble it all that can be a bugger but i think its worth it in the end

Mod for today, Ten minutes to whack the old handles out and put the new ones in.

Time to share the love fellow Zedders, How to get More choices of cabling colours believe it or not all my cables are red and after spending a while looking for a yellow power cable and finding nothing suitable or not extorianate at the time i thought of a simple cheap solution. How i did it was follow a usual guide for grounding kit using any colour cable you can find then i purchased plenty of yellow heatshrink and covered my cables in the heatshrink and there you go a yellow grounding kit. Heat shrink is available in many colours from places like farnell, rs, hellerman tyton etc but i used an ebay seller heatshrink-online but many others listed with a whole range of colours hope this helps a few out.

Thank you much appreciated especially from some one of your skill Yeah i had a weapon_r before and was really disapointed with the quality and when trying to bleed the PAS as soon as you opened the cap it throw fluid all over the engine bay plus one of the outlets was the incorrect size, these ones are from an old trader called Chilli red but dont actually know the MFR but they are so much better designed doesnt throw fluid all over the engine bay and all the outlets are correct size and just look better in my opinion, i wouldn't recoment the weapon-R to anyone personally after my experience of them and i wont even try to sell my old one as i think it is just wrong. Thanks, you and me both im getting really impatient just want it finished now! Thank you only a few bits and i can declare that part of the car finished, although deep down i know it will never be finished. -
Quality work as always Mr Solze

Samll update as the weather is still to cold for an major over haul. More engine Bling fitted. New coolant and PAS tanks fitted replacing the old wepon-r PAS and OEM Coolant tanks. Removed the Strut bar and took it to my mates wheel refurb shop where he allowed me play so i acid dipped it to strip all the layers of paint then shot blasted before experimenting with powder coat to get the finished article in the pictures. Also bought a pair of handles for a very good price £30 and sprayed them black. Finally started work on my amp rack although pictures of that to follow at a later date. -
Surely even if the back is sprayed black the nismo sticker is under the resin so it could just be sanded back in the middle of the bumper to reveal if there is a sticker to prove it is genuine or not

Need a pro o install aftermarket car stereo

What you after just good Sound quality or deep bass? how much you looking to spend? sound quality is not cheap my sub and 1 set of components cost over 2K without amps. I guess you just want a mid range set up not cheap and not expensive, You could prob use the HU for now to save cost and then replace at a later date but i would start by removing all the clarion (Bose) stuff and putting in new speakers and amps. Budget is the big decider though -
When experimenting last year i looked into black and gold Got shot down for it but i liked it, however i did go in another dirrection due to the clashing with a different colour scheme i was using else where. there is something about black and gold i like. Look forward to seeing this progress and that colour scheme on a different set of wheels, I personally would do the handles black and the badges gold but its not my car its yours so keep it how you like
