Are the badges fairly easy to remove?.. Like are they stuck on or do they have holes into them too?. When I get mine I'd prob want to change them. Not for a full Z... just something that stuck in place of the circle nissan one but with Z in the middle. They easy to get hold of?

I've seen this too, but jesus... a Lamborghini... why!?! Do it to something I don't like... like erm... a Chrysler Crossfire... mmm how I loathe them.lol

If I had a brain I'd be dangerous.... my avatar pic, I forgot about that lol... thats the last one I test drove. My car on the left, Zed on the right Yeah I got to open it up a bit aswell, he was a bit iffy when I said I was gonna slam the brakes on (I test EVERYTHING on a test drive), make sure it A)...stopped loll and B.) wasn't pulling to one side when I do it. When I went up there were some amount of GTRs sitting out front. Guy said there the main Nissan sportscar place... I could tell from the cars they had I've asked the person if I can paste the thing they sent me about understanding what I've been on about, but I'll let them get back to me to see if there ok with it. Won't be mentioning names as they requested lol.

Alex Noble n son in Edinburgh (very nice guy I dealt with! ) and Nissan coatbridge a while back before that. (the coatbridge one I had thought about getting it a bit too early, but decided it'd be financial suicide to spend all the money at that point and put myself in unnecesary debt.lol the guy theres was also brilliant) thats why I'm waiting til after the winter so I've paid off the current wheels. Only thing i'd say about test drives, did gun it more on the noble one, but I always feel a bit too nervous to do what I want with it to make sure (and by that I don't mean drift round a roundabout lol), just you restrain yourself mor eI think on a test drive as ... its not your car... yet lol.
-
Its fine its fine! lol If your still referring to boy racer stuff your not on the same mind track here, I've had a message from someone who new exactly what I was on about and gave all the info I needed lol. And I've drove two! But test drives are not too long. that being said yes I won't find out til' I have my own so fair enough lol.

Speedy ... anyone? lol 4:04 they pass another blue Z on the roundabout behind the Titty. Dunno whats been done to the Orange/white Roadster but damn it shifts!

I've got a feeling when I get one, people will sit on my tail lol Despite having a Hyundai Coupe (even sounds like a hoover when you say doesn't it?) cos' its a classy lookin' old girl people sit on my tail quite a lot actually Some of them don't realise they could nuke my weedy 2.0L into the woods lol. Always wondered why some people chose to move over (and no its not cos I sat on their tail). They do look a bit lower and wider than they are when viewed through a rear view mirror. I also took it to a bentley garage once when looking at a TT (don't worry it was a depressing time in my life ) and the guy thought it was rear wheel drive and had over 200bhp... I laughed... obviously lol. I'm buying the Z mainly for the look and sound, but I want to have a ..what I call "peak" car in my life while im still young'ish, so I want the pace a bit. After this I won't get anything faster, unless I win the lotto... although after it the 370's prob be down in price after a good few year hehe I honestly thank you though for ALL the replies, everyone on this has been awesome, helpful and honest in their opinions, which helps me get by the head vs heart thing. Heart wins obviously... you can charge all you want tax man, insurance man ..or woman and I'll still pay it to make sure I'm not driving a 1.whatever corsa, astra, focus, 3series, A4...etc (although i like A4s...lol). Ta much Keep me posted if you do decide to time a 60 though... what?....

Spoken to someone who gave me everything I need to know and understands bang on the nail, special thank you!!

I've prob not worded or hard to explain but I think coldel has got it for me, hes in the area of my thought. NO... I do not want to race kids at lights... I would.. indeed, let them fly off and cruise on down, knowing I'm in the..better car But just general overtaking, grunt...the odd time when a ...**** of a BMW, Audi driver wants to sit on your tail.lol I have test drove a couple and put the foot down, it was fast enough, but that short time doesn't give me an idea of real situation performance. you don't buy a car like this not to use it once in a while (DO YOU... )... a blast down forth roads to moffat etc (if your around here) is stunning on a nice day. I just want to make sure it GOES for the insurance im gonna pay on it and that it is gonna be worth while. You all have one I'm, after your experience... (its slow...does not help, useful but somehow I think thats a lie lol). I'm, thinking... waterproof watch... you'll never take it to its limit, but its nice to know it can perform when needed... prob quoted topgear i think there, my mind sets off an alarm with it . Thats all I wanted to hear plus a little bit of detail So... does it do it well then? Beast of a thread this lol.

The second time someones mentioned 8!! C'mon! lol Its not that hard to pull off a time without wrecking your clutch, 8... omg no, I won't accept that lol Yep if anyone can give it a bash, would be greatful.. don't go mental and break something for the sake of a question though lol... as its not that hard...stop... use a stopwatch on your fone for an approx time.. (preferribly with a passenger for safety lol) and go... Just ease out the clutch quickly but smoothly, might knock a few tenths but not that bad, done it in a good few cars. I've cracked 9 in mine...which is 3tenths better than claimed...and if your near that... be ashamed It's not all about being a C**k but for a car like this you would expect nothing less (Let me know how you get on! And thanks! Put some faith in the Z...

8secs?... that must be a joke...I really hope not.m It'd mean its not much fast than my Hyundai coupe to 60.. lol A celica will do 7... also seen this. If a 350Z was near 7 secs that would be a disaster. Fair nuff you need to get it just right for manufacture claims, but it should still be doing it in 6secs dead'ish with an average joe. ...surely.

No, no I dooo, god I really do, its just my head vs heart scenario lol. I usually go with the heart... And pretty slow?? I wouldn't call 5.5-5.9 secs to 60 slow in any terms, I mean, its not in supercar or higher sportscar teritory like XK's etc... but thats pretty fast to me lol. What were you doing?? lol You can get better than that from a Z lol I like this quote... I'm kinda after that, something that can still dance but will settle down when I'm just wanting to chill lol. And from the test drives I've had, its an easy goer' with hidden muscle lol. I think my heads still in the right direction... following behind my heart haha

Ah well Neil, that stuffs my guess then lol

Hum, just went and looked at autotrader for "confirmation" so to speak. Focus ST... crap look inside,no cruise control (wht I like it and use it ok? lol). Type R, like the interior, not so keen on the outside... its like a ball, with very little room actually for 'noticible' changes to make it a type R, you don't notice the skirts etc as much. Vauxhall, boy racer looks to the max , horrid interior. Jesus I might just save a bit more, blow a mild hole in the budget and go for an 08' ... should still have decent power, hopefully none of the 06-07 oil problem rubbish I'm so scared to buy one for . But jesus the tax and insurance jumps so high... all because of 20bhp .. grr. I'm determined little son of a gun. I don't want a holiday, I don't want to spend it on other things I just want a nice car lol. I did see a guy in Uddingston in blue kick about in the winter, when it was slushly, so must still be driveable. Just when it gets really icey and snow lies? lol. Your right though, they look special compared to most and I think thats what I'm clinging too. cheers for the reply!

Love the vids! Sounds brilliant

Nice, simple and effective stuff!

That is just crap Why the hell would you want that... and I hate the way the bodykit goes over the wheels... I HATE that look, terrible. Looks like its one of those pimped up bouncing cars. Bleh...scrapyard.

I'm not after being king of the hill, but I do want it (due to its type) to at least be able to keep most things at bay. I'm just trying to think of all the options. I want a sports car, love the low down feel (when I sit in a hatchback now I feel like im sitting on a skyscraperlol). Gonna' be using the train to work next year during snowy periods and quite willing to do so just to have this car. Theres no other sports cars with the classic look that I can buy for about 10K with reasonable mileage that will be not bad realible wise. (correct me or suggest if im wrong please! lol) And yep I have thought about that aswell, the fact that its older and will have lost a good bit of horsepower... hum. I really don't want a hot hatch ..even though sense for what I want points in that direction. I did ...breifly think about ST and Type R. what are they like in the snow?? Anyone? Apparently even Audi's that are high power FWD, with big wheels are a bit of a struggle in thw winter. Prob make me feel better if they were crap too lol. Any suggestions (although I'm still firmly keeping my feet in Z teritory), what else could I get?? (at least 200bhp, up to max 35K miles, about 11-12K'ish...as I'd bring a dealer down a bit )..... This gets harder the closer it gets to getting a new car. Cheers for the help guys!

30K for an engi....... OMG....Thats horrific. I'd expect an engine to do 70K before serious probs happened, imagine that happening after 30?... Drive you insane... and make you and the bank ex-friends lol
-
I was in wishaw general yesterday visitin' my mum lol. Never seen anything myself. Did it have Nismo stickers? lol

Hmm we like the replies, cheers guys! My mates got an 06 ST, its fairly rapid. Sounds not far off the same exhaust note as the Z either lol. But yeah thats the main point, I'd rather have something that looks different than have to squint, look hard and go.. oh yeah, twin exhausts... side skirt, must be a type R, ST... VXR is a bit more noticible but I mean c'mon... an Astra... does anyone lust for an Astra? lol. Interior is horrid. And I mean the design, no piano black can hide a slab sided dash. Sure I'm after the 2005 Zed, where its not exactly...luxurious... but the point is... the shape, the way it curves down into the transmission tunnel that goes behind your seats into the speaker/glovebox thing. Is it just me or to have a sporty car means should have a tunnel in the middle? lol I like that sort of thing lol Anyway I'm glad I asked hehe, its fast enough to keep most things at bay, which is fine and even if your not...planting the foot, you can sit satisfied knowing your in something special indeed. *sigh* hurry up winter/xmas and bugger off....
-
Think you might be right, non-GT with a leather option... I assumed you could do that??
-
What?! lol Whats with the tears and burning?? I would assume it would beat them, just curious as to how much. I like detail lol I'm buying a Zed to be special, but for the type of car, I would expect it to (for stock purposes)... pass the hatchbacks on the left hand side (music reference )... and be done.

The 'inner child' came out yesterday.... lol Coming home from buying some dear petrol a Focus ST sat behind me, nothing wrong with it, just sitting there. Coming up to a dual carridgeway, I noticed peeking out from behind the Focus... an Astra VXR... got to the carridgeway and both shot past me (obviously...) like bullets. I'm not one to fart about, but I will on occasion still like to put the foot down (hey im only 25, got a lot to learn ). I just sat n' thought, wonder by how much the Zed would be away from them had I been in one and planted the right foot?? Anyone any experience (whether on a track like crail or something) of how much faster a Z is?. I've seen a vid of a Z pulling away from a Type R civic and it... fairly nukes it. But what about ST's and VXRs which have a bit more over the 200bhp side. Is 40-60bhp enough to show (ahem) them the right way? As you may tell I respect but I am not a fan of hot hatches, by which I mean I'd rather buy something that looks special enough, not just a focus or astra with a paint scheme
