Yep your spot on with the example. I went from a diesel corsa to the coupe... (only had the corsa 6 months... i don't p**s about with crap cars lol) so obviously it was a momentus occasion. Yes not that powerful at all and it could have been better. But remember... when you're younger trying to insure a 2 litre sporty efforts is hard . And I REFUSED to buy a hatchback. I wanted something that looked special enough. And it does the job, shine it up (especially mine with the tints and 3.5 facelift) and it looks a heap better than most boxes travelling about the road, it stills get looks believe it or not (i keep mine looking good ). BUT... IF they lowered it a bit, made the gap between the arch and bonnet lower, giving it a better sleeker front, put 18inches as standard and had gave it 190-200bhp... i prob wouldn't be so eager to get rid of it. The car can handle more, way more, but with its weedy power as standard it just feels... sluggish at certain revs. It will do 140mph though .... which is not bad (and before anyone opens... yes, trust me it can lol Actually gets to 120 fairly easily before it 'feels' as if its lagging). I know this as I've been *cough*5 mph short of it*cough* and not tested by just looking at a speeedooo. lol

Ok not as exciting as it sounds... infact the title sucks too but still.... I put £45 of fuel in and reset the milometer and decided to see how much I'd get out it (this being a mix of driving, tried to drive granny slow at the start but it was too hard to concentrate so just drove normally... cruising, motorways, overtaking on 60's, the usual, no exaggerating and trying to make the miles work lol). Now, I will admit there was a tiny amount still in the tank, but not too much. so... £45's worth... 32 Litres... Miles to go reads 265 miles when I put the fuel in... Ran it til' today when I needed to put more in and the actual miles got out the tank... 250. So roughly I work out approx 35mpg... not bad. Still terrible, but...not bad. .. Zed shouldn't be that much of a shock when it comes lol...

I know, its bad.... lol Plus its all I keep seeing now, any time theres a whiff of a Zed near me my eye will catch it

But yeah.. don't worry won't be going near normal unleaded when i get it ..AT ALL. Bascially this is me being too stupid and paranoid isn't it?... ANY super unleaded of some form is gonna be 97ron or above? and therefor fine for the zed?? I'm talking like im about to buy a priceless engine Lambo... i forget people do have M3's, porsche caymans etc..and i assume their in the same boat.. lol. I just ...'like to be sure'

Thank you... but lol... I sometimes fill up at work where theres only a tesco.... and sometimes i fill at bp if i go by my m8s work.... eg... Vpower - 'X' Ron.... fine to use Tesco unlimited 'X' Ron.... fine to use BP Ul...well you get the idea...

PETROL...RON... oh yes.. just...just bare with me im simple I keep reading 99 Ron for the Zed?? And then I see on the net VPower is 97 plus or something? ... Does my head in. I just wanna make sure when I get the Zed.. i run it on the right stuff so I don't have to even consider worrying about reving over 5K...so... what I would like... is some one to give me a list (theres prob only 2 or 3 ) of the main super unleaded petrols I CAN use and what RON are they? eg... shell v power... tescos unlimited whatever...and any others... oh yeah BP... ultimate? Also... this 99 thing... what is the minimum RON the Zed can run on. I take it they differ? I read for it to be super unleaded of some sort in the UK it has to be above 97? So 97 itself and up is fine to rev my nuts off in the zed? help much??... Don't shout either.. lol cheers

I've seen others, i know what it can do ..(eg... m8s £25K 3 Series... now...a £900 406... lol But he has a nice house and big drive and 2 awesome kids, one of which is my godson so ill let him off ). And yep, I do plenty of researching... including pestering you lot Trying to contact Santander to see how I pay the car off, if it can be done by card or cheque (but they shut early...grrr). Been to the bank already... "will you block a transaction of around £2700 for security cos its so large?..."...."maybe".... "what can be done"..." i can put a note on the system..."...."smashing... Aw no, not the v6.... God knows how they got so little power out that engine. Lol ive done not bad for moving up engine wise. 1.7D, 2.0 petrol, n now soon to be 3.5 V6... I dont hang about when it comes to movin up the 'food chain' lol

Right you... what year and model? if its not at least a 2006 2.0L its rubbish. Obviously its not that fast, (but you'd be surprised what it can do ) and if you take it up some nice roads you'll realise its a good handlin' little thing for what it is and the cost! (as many reviews agree ). And YES I know its banter hehe And YES I need to get one quick, and i promise its very...very soon! Thing is, it looks good, sounds not bad at all thanks to the twin pipes. And really (as long as its not slow slow) thats all anyone wants lol I know a Golf GTi would monster me, but... what would I rather have? The nice lookin sports car or... a hatchback thats high and looks the same almost as all the others. I have a thing about being low. Love the fact my mirrors are smack bang in my eye line and you feel cucooned (however you spell it) and hidden away. I sit in my friends corsa and think... christ I'm high..looking down at the wing mirrors lol And the Zeds even lower than the coupe! When I get this the forum needs to have a party or something. I don't think anyone has been this annoying with questions and been here so long without a Zed, but im EXTREMELY greatful to everyone thats helped me with answers and advice. And hopefully still help me when the new beast arrives PS. getting back to topic. Usually use the orange label clean wheels Auto Glym stuff. Seems to work a treat as it doesn't dull the lacquer. But even a brush is hard to get into those wee double spokes cos you need pressure to get some of the tougher stuff out. But meh, I don't care, its leaving soon... lol

90-100 miles a day?! No wonder you spend a fortune. I can safely say you'll have a higher wage than me lol. If i was doin' that kinda mileage I wouldn't even consider a sports car (as it will be my only car) lol. But hey, have it be said I see a gd few kickin about on a daily basis going to work so must be their only car...(either that or they like to burn fuel... lol) Tranquill bass from time to time, always see the grey pre-300' in eurocentral, who never replies so doubt hes a member lol. And a silver one from time to time also. Put it this way, 26, at the parents for the moment, 30 mile a day round trip to work, 5 days, yearly wage (with bonuses) 25K a year... obviously i get less as thats before tax. And its getting done, it will be bought, and i will love every damn minute of it lol. Compared to anything else, for the looks, the pace,the type of car its not that bad on running costs. The fuel is not far off the same as mine (shocking as it makes me feel), as i said tax... well.. its yearly so ..just work and £460 isnt hard to come by and insurance. its gonna be dear,you just need to factor that in lol. Basically the only item that should bother me is fuel... and it doesn't. So... unless (touch woooood) something goes balls up in it, I should enjoy a nice time with the new car. very...very ...soon

Silver 350Z coupe, headin Edinburgh way on the M8, was always 2 cars behind, tried to catch up but when one moved over another tooks its place then realised ...they didn't have any ..oompf to get passed the car next to them.. grr lol. Damn Zeds look good on the road... in a kinda "move the **** over" kinda way lol EDIT : Was gonna edit the swearing out as I just realised what I'd posted..but its done it already lol
