Wasn't spotted by me, but some of my m8s were down at wishaw sports centre last night gettin' a game of footie. Said a grey 350Z with decals, possibly Nismo on them, red, black. Short reg... just showed him there a pic on this of Neils signature... said he thinks it was that or at least looked like it. Neil? lol Said it was given off a wee rev lol One of my m8s would have been in the blue Celica, with GT kit.

Thats pretty good, but I'd get them on at my m8s lol. Tbh this is just leading to me buying one with 'those' wheels isn't it? I can feel it... pressure here, pressure from my m8s lol I may well have to do it... (even though i'd rather not ) but thats me being stubborn. Right anyway, think i've returned enough with my moaning, (minus possible PM'n of help to check something ) i'll get back to use when i hopefully have a different signature at the bottom and less moaning.... ..... bloody wheels.... lol

True. Don't mind tyres etc..but forking out just to change the alloys would annoy me lol. Theres not been too many ones with Rays that ive wanted since changing down a peg from the facelift. But ill keep checking, I may have to bite the bullet and go for those alloys. Hum. Spose £500 for a new set wouldn't be too much of a killer just... just would rather spend that on something else. Yes... i know im a picky b*****d lol. Used to do design and was gonna head into that, ended up being an Auditor/Data analyst... details are my 'thing' lol. I like what I like and its annoying to change that, but i may have to...

My m8 seems to think i'm hovering over the wheels too much aswell...hmm.. bugs me though.. you obviously want things as best you can, colours yes... i can change that, mileage i can venture further but god dammit i hate those wheels. They make it look like a toy IMO. lol And in terms of money being worth in 3 yrs. I do not care... and thats not being silly, I honestly don't. My coupe I bought with 9K and 2 yrs old...a nearly new motor. I knew it was gonna be worth bugger all and i didn't mind, I bought it to drive and use and enjoy and jeez I have and now its worth bugger all at £2K... so? I don't buy for investement is a key thing to point out for me lol I'll buy the Zed... yes i have thought about the 3 yrs as ill most likely have it and won't end up like i did with the coupe (5 yrs...but 3rs in..want to change...had to save up n pay it off). The car will get run into the ground ...kept very well!.. but ran til its last breath lol And if I see something else in 4odd yrs time then theres some pennies worth of a Zed to trade in lol ...although god knows when at this rate... Question...how much are these 'non' rays going for if you were to sell em? I've seen the decent rays for £500+ but not the older ones, there always in singles or doubles.

I'm not much of a mod fan I can only say that... tinted windows and shorter aerial that does me. I have put driled/grooved discs n diff pads on my coupe just now but its a pain every time pads are needed, jumping on to ebay etc. I'd rather just go to my local place i trust and go.... change the pads. lol

Hey, thanks! I did see this one, bit put off with the mods mind you... quite a low price too, but prob due to the mods itself maybe. Thought it was an import at first when i saw the horrid silver dash, but seems to have the UK back plate so meh. But right mileage, right colour i suppose, right year, just.. .. bad example in my eyes...visually lol Cheers though! EDIT for Stephen (just caught it as i posted there). Yeah some say it is a bit mad buying an older car and financing it. But there fairly strong, 3 yrs isn't that much when your buying a car these day, at least ill know ill keep it for that long. Plus, as a bit of a car nut im after a nice GT with more power and as much kit for less. I want mine.. but pumped up, a proper performance car. And the best way into that...is the Zed, always liked them. Theres boxsters and all sorts but there stupidly expensive and for the miles. Petrol i'm not so bothered, i use enough of it as it is, consumables...meh its been thought of and discarded as im happy to pay to enjoy. I'm currently hunting all dealers/autotrader on a daily basis when im bored or have the time. I know if something decent comes up it won't last. lol The fact that they do go through fuel and cost a bit is my hope of keeping others off one

Yeah I know i'm bad for it... blame 'young' culture lol...dammit. Yes... it does limit me. Don't really wanna do 4-5 yrs finance as its just a waste of cash with the interest...done it..hated it, paid it off early. So would rather do 3 yrs and to do that... the 55's are the right price..(well newer ones are too but higher mileage & why not save 4K eh?), as long as i can exchange the coupe in. ..wish i hadn't mentioned the bloody wheels now...

Anyway... decided to go for the older ones as up to 4K cheaper and i was being too picky by wanting a facelift. Had a look at a 54 plate the other day and wondered what I was thinking before (the older interiors looks cheaper in picture than when you actually sit in one lol)..so... 05ish after, but can't seem to find what i want despite being a few around. The don't have the rays im after, but ...in the other thread, i can't get over that i want to buy it with them on and don't want to buy a car then go hunting for them afterwards ..but meh. lol Prob do need to broaden ma view in terms of colours n' maybe verge into 40K then under as aposed to 30, better chance of finding...well..wanting something then. Yours doesn't half brighten up a rainy day

eg... ebay one of the biggest probably for searching, decent enough... there are a few.. single alloys, some scuffed. There is one set... that are painted horrendous white.. lol None on gumtree. Just two quick searches. Yes probably easier than a full spec car, but seemingly not hugely easy unless I can find a specific person who deals in OEM stuff. Certainly not going to Nissan anyway lol

Yes, but im not trawling about for mint rays when i can just get them on the car. Yes I could buy ones and switch them, but I don't want to..simple. Its not unreasonable to just want them on the car already and save the hassell of hunting around. I don't need to hunt around for pads, discs n' tyres. I can just go get them done there n then. My point was just a general question of wonder how many are left out ther for the mileage/spec im after, as it seems there rare in coming up now for pre-facelifts... and maybe a bit of 'banter'. I wasn't after an argument over..alloys

This is what I looked at on the weekend there, 40K i think it was or just over, and when i looked round it (besides some polish needed for the exhaust tips) it was mint, clean engine everything. I went to see it to do just that...broaden my horizon on the colour..and i liked it. If it wasn't for the fact they wouldn't do part exchange and those alloys... i would be amazingly tempted.... I just don't think it looks as good with them, not as sharp...

Yes.... lol those don't bother me. i just would like a low monthly payment lol. I've modded my currant car, had to replace loads of things as i go thorugh tonnes of miles, due to a sensor issue im now getting Zed performance mpg...not that it was that far behind..this also doesn't bother me... The reason i want it to be spot on is... I can't be bothered changing wheels, don't want tonnes of hassel (who does?), i just wanna find the car... cheap as possible... right spec/colours...tint the windows ,stubby and leave it alone.. job done. But yesss..you are right i should broaden my eyes a bit; I kinda like the blue (just paranoid about someone scratching the damn thing lol) 40K prob isn't much.. my head just seems to think 30sumthin' sounds better... and rays... no..no i will not give in on them lol

And no my mechanic friend..who is quite good does not know the main items to look for.. i'm quite happy i've found enough through this to know whats not right.. i want him there for the basics... exhaust, axels, suspesion...etc.. when i buy cars i get them up on a ramp for him to look at underneath (im thorough and dealers you will obey lol ) But the expert Z'dr would be a handy thing indeed! oh and... 1. Condition 2. Low Miles 3. Distance 4. Rays 5. Silver/Grey ...but thats hard! I won't accept those curvy alloys.. hate them lol. So the colour and alloys are at the same level.lol And thank you for offering to help! Northern Ireland...with a modified stereo..no... lol Wigan... 3+ hrs away... dear god . I've been near it before in ...Huddersfield.. don't think i'd drive that much for a car lol. I'll just keep looking. Although I might actually do that, i was gonna get my m8 whos a mechanic to look at the car also, but might be worth while.. asking someone on here if something comes up nearer ...hmm. I know i've seen, but some are quite a bit away and trying to get the time to go down.. having to treck all the way down south to look at it and possibly decide its not in good nick is... not practical to say the least. lol.. 100 miles is really all i'd be willing to travel. I mean ...go down, see the car, get a valuation, test drive, back home... back down collect the car, drop mine off, drive all the way home. .Its ok, if its not too far away, but once you start hitting 150+ im like.. noooo. EDIT - Besides the ones I know about theres two.. but no picture...and both about 130-160 miles away. Infact.. lets check where that is..

Well, not posted anything in a while, since the last time i've pegged down a bit from the 'i want the newest and bestest...' lol Decided to go for a pre-facelift one after much pondering around comparing the two and decided even the old ones look superb and I was just being a bit of a... picky tit. But since doing this its harder than I thought trying to find the right one 05' - early 06', 35K mileage, GT, silver/grey.. teetering on blue after looking at a recent one..in that order of colour lol. For that seen the prices around £8-8.5K, trade in my hooverCoupe for about 1800-2000 and its an easy affordable steal for 3 yrs finance. Sorted... but..no. Everyone I see is either black..no thank you, sunset... again...no thank you lol 50K plus miles and have the wrong wheels. (i want the sharper lookin' rays lol). Theres a few kicking about arnold clark, glasgow, EK, seen one in edinburgh at the weekend to discover they don't do trade in cos of my mileage in my car (grr... ). But all the wrong wheels. I'm buying to keep as is (bar windows n' stubby) so i cant be bothered with wheel hunting etc as I know it'll be the next suggestionlol. (incidentley the blue one in edinburgh sighthill 'union motor company' is pretty mint if your looking for a blue one!). Do you think theres still a few out there with 30K on it? Or am i pushing my luck for the older cars? Seeing Tranquilbass coming home just made the thought even more depressing lol. Such a pretty car...

I know it looks like it from the pic, but its a Coupe lol The road up to the place wasn't...particularly nice if i remember on my car...god knows how they got a Zed there.

Clearing up my photos of trips away etc and found this, had forgotten I'd taken it. Its a holiday house rental thingy in Perth..or just outside i think? Was taken in 2010. My gran etc were renting it out and I went to visit them, and if you look in background on the left, you'll see a sunset Coupe... lol Anyone??
