    "Way Back Home"

A friend of mine had a huge car accident, broke his back. The quacks say he would have been dead if his muscles were not as strong as they are. He does this. The guys are bullet!
  3. Any more takers on the boot/bonnet lifters? That are NOT a broom handle
  4. Cheers Tarmac.... "RTFM" ... I will give them a call and see what the deal is... Cheers! Yeah, if you look on the images on eBay, the bonnets don't look very "open"... Anyone bought one of these kits?
  5. OK Folks. I have done the penny trick, taken out the boot weight.... even added felt padded spacers. Nothing works. My boot still slams own on my head! And due to pressure physics beyond my understanding, the colder it gets, obviously the worse it gets. SO, I need new boot/tailgate struts. I think these are the ones people recommend: http://www.sgs-engineering.com/pages/st ... range/350Z Is it £25 for both? Can anyone recommend any others, better ones? Not fussed about Carbon fiber or anything... FRONTS.... I also can't believe such a nice motor doesn't come with bonnet struts! Seen a few advertised on eBay, but from looking at the images it looks like the bonnet doesn't open very far with them. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0706065376 Anyone have any experience or recommend any good kits for the front? Again, I'm not fussed about Carbon fiber... So, any suggestions, front or rear please peeps? along with any experiences you guys have had? Cheers! (P.S. Spoke to the diamond geezer ZMANALEX and he doesn't keep anything in stock. I also looked on the RedChilli website, can't find anything.)
  6. Monthly? Your not driving enough Colin
  7. Yeah... crazy, crazy... filled up yesterday and spotted that it would be 5p cheaper on Friday.... I will have to drive all week... so I can fill up cheaply on Friday... Not THAT makes economical sense
  8. They are unpredictable, expensive, a right royal PITA... but you love them anyway... They HAVE to be female!
  9. Probably asked loads... (but the searchy returned nothing) Anyone know where the best/cheapest place to get a copy of PhotoShop for the Mac is? eBay? Im not fussed about a super up to date version. Just something to have a play with.... anyone?
  10. I parked 3 cars down from you! You have a forum sticker in the back windows :-)
  11. Admiral DOD allow mods... but they were a little vague with mine. I have a "pop charger" (never get used to saying that instead of CAI!) and on my insurance it says "Modified air box" Told them exactly what I had and they said it would cover it (and my wheels)
  12. I pay less for my Zed AND my Audi now, with Admiral, than I did JUST for my shitty Diesel Leon with Tesco before!
  13. Hey Al.... I need 3 as I had two missing.... and I lost another when I took off the brace What kind of price are they Al? Can you give me a quote on these Alex?
  14. Yeah, had it all aligned a few days after our drive round Wales bud... once my new tires turned up... and were fitting in the right direction Like I say, 905% of the time, they are great.... just sometimes they pull on rough roads... or when I am crossing white lines/cats eyes... I will have a look on the front and see if there is any excessive toe in/toe out wear. Can't see how though as they were aligned recently... Good idea to check though, cheers Daz!
  15. I have the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's all round.... I thought they were decent tires?
  16. How? Does the RR make a big difference for tram-lining?
  17. TRAMLINE... that was the damn word I was trying to remember Yeah... so do all Zed's do it? Just gotta keep both hands on the wheel at all times
  18. The more and more I drive... the more I notice that my car tends to drift/track with grooves in the road. It mostly happens on straights where you can pretty much see the grooves in the road made by trucks etc... Yes, my wheels are "wrong" with having 8's on the front and 8's on the back (rather than 8.5) And they are 19's, making the fronts +6% off standard rolling radius! Anyone else notice this? Would getting my tires on the front (the rears are now only 2% off standard RR) reduce this? Is this just something cars with wide wheels suffer from?
  19. I am SUPER happy with my Nikon D3000... Bought a nice 18-200 for it and she is lovely...!
  20. Any vids of the Japanese lessons...? They were very interesting and informative...
