  1. Yeah... sorry peeps... I meant "Rays" from a GT
  2. Been looking on eBay at some original alloys... the price range of them is crazy! Anyone know what I should pay for a set? Without tires and a few minor scuffs? Sick of these damn awful alloys I have on at the moment
  3. Plus we all get the surprise of who is in at the same time
  4. VERY happy with it... Had another look this morning and the colour matches even BETTER now than it did last night. When the guy left, he said he was going to J1 on the M45 to do ANOTHER 350Z! Some bloke had got in it with these stupid "stylish" jeans on and ripped the leather. He said the WORST thing you can wear in light leather seats is jeans. The colour transfer is scary. JEANS!
  5. Thanks for that.... Decent quote. I will get back to you.
  6. Nope... Didn't see what he used... I was in my office working. Damn work! Gotta say it's the dogs danglies though.... Looks a little more orange in the photo's than it is. He mixed up the colour by eye, so it matched was IS there, rather than the "original" colour. Plus he put a clear finishing 'glaze' over everything to get it to stay looking good for as long as possible. It's now dry to the tough, but he says to leave it to dry for as long as possible. Preferably 3-4 hours. Im probably going to leave it for at least 2-3 days anyway. Really pleased with the results, get what you pay for!
  7. Spot any difference? I am WELL pleased with the result!!!
  8. Leamington Spa isn't that far from them... they might come over to you. Drop em a line with some pics. Im sure they will quote you,
  9. Thats not a bad price, is that for the whole drivers seat and gear knob?? Nope... that is for "all" the damaged leather... drivers side bolsters, passenger side bolsters, gear stick, handbrake and steering wheel! He isn't treating where is doesn't need it.... but is doing everywhere else.
  10. HE HE ... cheers. I had a great drive the other day, so I am pretty confident I will be OK. The commentary isn't part of the test, but apparently some examiners ask you to do it for a couple of mins.... I can't shut up ever ANYWAY... im a bloomin' blabber mouth
  11. The guy is here... looked at it and said £150 for the lot. He is getting on with it now, so I will let you know how it goes.....
  12. Cheers Chris.... HOURS of time spent.... Don't think I have the patience to spend that long with a toothbrush Plus as you can see from the photo's the leather is actually damaged in a few places, not just cracked. Will see what this guy says this morning...
  13. Current damage... I think the gear stick is beyond repair
  14. Anyone used these guys? http://www.midlandsmars.co.uk They are coming round today to look at my seats and give me an estimate on what they can do and how much it will be. The seats are just on the cusp of being what I would call "bad" ... so I want to catch them before they go. Anyone any idea how much this kind of thing costs? If it is worth it?
  15. YOU are the guy I am scared off... as it is a Police Advanced Driver who will be my examiner for my test!
  16. Great stuff.... can you give me an idea on prices for the three sets? Tire wise, I will probably want to go for ultrac sessanta's again as I am very pleased with the ones I have. Something you could also price up for me?
  17. Just passed my pre-test! WOO HOO!!! gotta book for the real thing now...
  18. Looks good! May need to have a search about... anyone done this?
  19. No problem... it's the actual knob im after....
  20. Is this the Alezan leather? Who ever had it... I will Pay DECENT cash for the gear stick!
  21. Hi Jim, I've said to the other lads that I'm not too keen on putting prices on the forum as I work in a very competitive market and I wouldn't want my competitors to just see my prices and just undercut me to try and get the work. My second reason is that if people are genuinely interested in having work done then I prefer to have a more personal conversation with them. Having said that, maybe more people would be more keen if they knew a rough figure... so full wrap prices on a Zed range from around £1100 - £1750 subject to the materials used and the amount of coverage (Door shuts etc). Cheers, K
  22. Talk to this guy... viewtopic.php?f=132&t=42694 Few bods on here doing it....
