  1. Just spent two weeks in a Charger SXT ... cruising the highways and interstates.... Got off the plane tired and asked for one... rather than the Camaro. The damn thing was a boat... no handling, no power... and when it DID try to put any power down, the wheels just span (Even WITH the TCS on!) ... Which you can't really control with your right foot as it was an auto Someone please tell me the Camaro would have been just as bad?
  2. Turned out the pipes were perished, so replacing them sorted the problem It was much easier going back on as I knew how I had taken it off, plus I had replacement screws and pop caps from ZManAlex
  3. I didn't actually bother disconnecting the battery. I was just careful when I swapped them out... Husky... sorted me LED's for the visor lights yet?
  4. Yeah... the TG mag comparison to the 458 was good... Have a read
  5. Get a move on then... have a look! (Not even when brushing your thick mane?)
  6. Woo Hoo! Lights turned up today.... Fitted and they look ace Only problem NOW is.... The vanity mirror lights are way too yellow! So, can they be changed to the same colour? What do I get? Husky?
  7. Hmm, GM is the same as Silverstone in some parts of the world, same paint code anyway Pete A door slightly the wrong colour is better than NO door
  8. Wow... people are quoting me!!!!
  9. I paid 25 quid off eBay. You can get oem ones for a bit more and updated for a lot more I guess the benefit to your car is the arb is attached properly with no play in it. Could eradicate some squeaking and might tighten up the handling The photos were taken on my phone ....one handed whilst trying not to to break anything, cover the phone in all manner it of dirt it cut through the brake lines! Presuming you can buy "performance" ones (that do exactly the same thing) for over 100 notes then Not having any problems at the moment, so I will leave it. But always good to have a guide for if/when I DO have to do it. Nice one .. With all this QUALITY spraying and fixing, you are soon going to be known as "Handy Ricey, the denim man!"
  10. What did you trade for? Looks like you did well with the price you got for it, depending on what profit was in the car they Part-ex'd if for
  11. "Up to 19 h.p. and 15 lb.-ft. of torque; Up to 37% increase in airflow" 19bhp/15tqs... from an intake? How can they LEGALLY make these claims?
  12. (Sorry if I am using this as a dumping ground for ideas!) "2 Sony Bullet cams (£80 each) and a 12v quad DVR - about £200 IIRC." --Possibility http://www.fastfilms.co.uk/dvx-in-car-bullet-camera-kit.php http://www.rfconcepts.co.uk/helmet_cameras.htm Two channel mini DVR http://www.getanalarm.co.uk/cctv/dvr-digital-recorders-/mini-2-channel-dvr-with-sd-card-memory/prod_71.php

    My New Car

TOP TOP purchase... Even "I" could spend 30 mins with a rag and get this looking SO much nicer...
  14. Just recon a little forward thinking is in order Something like this could be thin enough to fit in the head-liner. http://globaltscmgroup-usa.com/products/the-stealth-eye-car-blackbox/ Anyone messed around with the glasses holder for space? got any images of what can/could be fit up there?
  15. After a few terrible stories on here (specifically SpursMadDave's problem, http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=50770&start=0) I thought I would look into recording front end rear for accidents. Can anyone help me? What is needed.... 1. MOST important is stealth. Don't really want to see ANYTHING inside or outside the car. 2. Front and rear cameras, stealth. So presume hidden behind the grill and in the rear number plate light? 3. Recording on a loop, so it always has say the last 10-20 mins recorded, presuming a HDD would be the best bet? 4. I am not too bothered about actually seeing any footage in the car for the moment. So no need for screens yet.. An LED recording indicator would be good. 5. Always recording when the engine is running/ignition is on. 6. Infer-red cameras would be good to try to work at night (although I am not sure if the rear would work well with headlights pointing at it) 7. Want to put a reasonable budget on it. Say £200? -------------- Something like the "Novus eye plus Twin Camera" looks VERY good but might be a little OTT, both in spec and price. Plus would not be stealth, as it has to sit on your dash Unless I could somehow "hide" it in my headliner? http://www.novus-gps.co.uk/novus_eye_twin_camera.php References... There are a few HDD recorders out there... This kind of thing looks good... but expensive! http://www.mobilevehiclerecording.co.uk/CCTV-Recorder.php Yokomo... I would like to have this even MORE stealth that this, if possible. but I may have to settle for this, as I can't think of any other way to do it... Maybe something like these maybe? Or do people think that is LESS stealth than Yokoma's setup? --------- ANY help/advice/pointers would be great! Cheers peeps...
  16. How much are drop links... and what would they go for my car?
  17. Spotted this... I wanted to get it cheap but I am away when it finishes with no way to bid... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/110706003412
  18. Or a Cereal Killer... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cereal_Killer
  19. I didn't know that! Learn something everyday. Just trace cables in the walls then. I did it, which means ANYONE can do it. Just chisel a channel in the wall wide enough for a small bit of trunking, chuck the trunking in, with the cables (probably put in MORE than you need) then plaster/paint over it. Simples! Good man.... Top choice...
  20. Yup... which is what a SEAT is ... but cheaper
  21. I used to work for a company who wrote monitoring software for fruit machines. We installed a casino with these, each machine had one to retro fit the network. Worked beautifully, so we left. Next day a 10-12 ... the whole network went down... and again 5-8... Same hte next day... and the next... was weird. Went back to look.... and between 10-12 and 5-8 the chefs in the kitchen turned on the extractor fans.... which killed the network! Any reason you guys don't just use RF45e? Or you could even use Airports... (If you have Mac's, which you should!)
