  1. Cheers Lexx Just trying to sort out the mess I am in with Alex I think I have a DE box, so I am not ALL wrong.... just MOSTLY wrong. It was £20 on eBay, so I thought I would risk it. No info on the advert, just photo's.
  2. Just goes to show, it ISN'T JUST YOU who fecks things up
  3. I am actually really liking that. Mine is scuffed and faded, looks awful. I decided I didn't want to wrap it as I thought it would look pants but that look VERY good! Will need to rethink this now. Thanks coldel!

Well, at least you know it isn't serious.. and you can easily fix it! Stopped raining yet?
  5. The MAF currentl bolt's right onto the CAI tube, so yes, I think I am missing that bit. Looks like I need ANOTHER chat to Alex ... Nope, the box I have doesn't have the tall OR the small VS in it...
  6. OK peeps... been sorting though the stuff I got in my £20 bumper box from eBay I have TWO air boxes. One is for one side (possibly the left) of the twin intake engine... and the otehr is the one i nthe picture below. Also in the box were two rubber pipes. but I think I am at least one pipe short Currently, I run a CAI/pop charger thingy, which I want to replace with the standard airbox then do the RTBiscuit upgrade. Can anyone tell me what extra pipe I need... if I need one?

Maybe they think the spacers need to go BEHIND the disc?

Sounds like THEY don't know what they are talking abut. If they recon you fitted them wrong, why didn't they "fix" them for you while your wheels were off? Because if they ARE "wrong" then shouldn't it have failed the MOT due to it?
  10. I think it is a great idea... but I think you need something to constantly record the front camera while you are driving, so you can watch back when you are finished. This might do the job... http://www.robcollingridge.com/kitcar/d ... index.html
  11. You GIT!!!... that was £4 cheaper than mine!!! Presuming it will be the same, so you will be fine with it.
  12. I am trying NOT to have to take off the bumper... Or is it super easy to do? So far I have managed to get everything in and done... and linked up without taking the bumper off. Would be a sod if I have to take it off just for the cable I will try to strip back one of the cables and do a test with an altermeter before I start linking things up. Will try the green dashed one first.

Well, it all WORKS... so it can't be that bad Mine ALSO failed... on the drop links! Got some coming from Alex which I will get the garage to do, as MY skills are even LESS than yours
  14. No problem... Just make sure you mention that you want the CCD version when you buy it (I stick it in the note in paypal) and they send you and update for the extra cash. Let us know how it goes
  15. MUST TRY HARDER... The camera I thought didn't fit DOES fit, just needed a little more "persuasion" then I was giving it before. Can't get the cable to the TV to test it ON the car So will have to wait till I get a headunit
  16. Trying to slice into my reversing light positive for my reversing camera WITHOUT taking the bumper off to look at the lights directly. Anyone know which of the 6 crazy colour cables is the one I need to take as a positive?
