  1. Just worried I may have bitten of a little more than I can chew Will soon find out in a couple of weeks when I TRY to put it all back together again Anyone any good with Jigsaw puzzles?
  2. Such a shame as he is usually very helpful, albeit quite hard to get hold of.
  3. I hear what you are saying RisingPower. Took most of the car apart to fit the bits and bobs I needed too, so I might as well chuck a load of this in while it is all apart. Was going to try to put some in the spare wheel ... Thought I might get away with it but I might not from your experience Suppose I could raise everything else up a bit too
  4. Going a little crazy with everything all at once.... Tomorrow I fetch the Rainbow Comps and the MDF spacers to fit them into the doors. Monday I am booked in for having the center dash wrapped. Tuesday she is having the dents taken out of her doors, as well as the large scrape and scratch out of her rear bumper. After Tuesday I think it will all be a rebuild. Putting it back together. IF I can remember how! Skint till the end of the month now
  5. Oh... and the Beamer next to it is being taken form black to white. Cheaper than a paint job!
  6. I think I just love the look of matt black cars...
  7. Heard from a few bods that a little of this mat goes a long way if it is being used for stopping panels reverberating. Just a few strips makes a HUGE difference. Obviously I will be doing the door skins (inner and outer) fully. But the rest can just be lots of strategically places strips. Can't wait to get my hands dirty with it now... but I have to wait till my dents come out of the doors on Tuesday before I can do them.
  8. While I was there they wrapped my sub box too... DAMN sight better job than I would have done!
  9. The stuff is actually pretty light. But I am looking for good sound and road noise deadening, so I am happy to trade that for the weight. Wouldn't be putting the subs, comps and amps in if I was worried about weight
  10. Just picked up my sound deadening stuff from my friend Paul who owns Classic Acoustics. http://www.build.co.uk/company_409669.htm (Their own web site should be up by the end of next week) He makes sound proof rooms for a living and also does all the sound proofing for JCB's Lucky me has been given a LOAD of stuff. Two HUGE sheets of "AG-Barrier FO12(PVC Based)"... which to you and me is Dynamat. And a LOAD of "Type O Acoustic duct liner" which is AMAZING sound deadening stuff. Paul says that he can accommodate ANY sound deadening needs. So if you guys want some, mention me and he will sort you out. For what he gave me (Including a load of DECENT glue) he said he would charge £90 for people to fetch it. Working this out with dynamat prices it would be close to £800! ring em... 01952 587360, Ask for Paul, tell him James with the 350Z sent ya

  12. No.... it won't NEED remapping... But you should remap it to get the most power out of it that you can.
  13. Just been down to sort out getting a few bits wrapped at my local place... Look what they had tucked up in the corner just being finished.
  14. Right... so HOW do we get it re-instated? (Apart from the capital punishment section, obviously)
  15. What's that then? EDIT: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot_Act
  16. Does anyone know what law (if any) prohibits the police from using force against looters? Seems like THAT should be our first priority to sort out as soon as all this calms down. So the police CAN go in a little more heavy handed in the future, without the fear of discipline. At the end of the day, if you are in a riot, you should be dealt like an offender. If you are caught up in it all and you clearly show officers you are submissive, you will be left alone. Is it not as simple as that?
  17. Crazy... my struts from SGS are spot on. Push button and lift 10% with 1 finger them she opens herself. Sounds crazy (and slightly insulting) but are they on the right way round? I know you can "fit" them two ways... and one is the right way
  18. Repost? http://photoshoplooter.tumblr.com/
  19. Never knew this was an issue. Mine opens fine, fist time, every time.... but I will keen an eye on it if this is a common problem. Cheers
  20. From Introspect's strip... The amp is mounted under that bracket on the far passenger side. Introspect's is silver ... where as mine is black for some reason!
  21. I didn't know this was possible? Anyone else's tail gate open on it's own with one button press?
  22. Look in the boot, the passenger side, under the black foam/polystyrene...
  23. Right... Chosen my comps... I have been into the ICE house and listened to a LOAD of speakers... and I have gone for.... the Rainbow CS 265.25 Germanium Line They are a lovely mix of sharper mids due to the metal cone on the 6.5 but a softer tweet as they have fabric cones. Went a little over budget
