  1. Question from a total neeewbie... do you guys play racing games and learn the track before you go? I don't play any games at all, but I presume knowing how the track goes a little bit would be a good idea. Heard there is no way you can get the feeling of the hills but knowing the course a little before you got on is a good idea?
  2. Has Stew had his roof taken off then I meant rabbitstew

    The Perfect 370z

Looks OK... but that just has to be AWFUL to drive... doesn't it?
  4. Stew and the other chop top owners must be loving this...
  5. Why did you randomly decide to check you had the filter in? Not something you do on a regular basis... well caught!
  6. Same here... ordered 2 ... with another 2 free...
  7. Can any of you clever people on here explain to be how I make money from a crashing market? This guy seems to think you can... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqN3amj6AcE If I had say 10K I had to invest (lose) ..... what should I do with it?
  8. I would love the speed limit to go up to 80mph... that would be great. But what would be BETTER would be punishing middle lane hoggers. I HONESTLY believe that is people pulled in when they are not over taking, we could sit at 70 for longer and not NEED to jump up to 80. Taking the limit to 80 will just mean you have to do 50-80 all the time (more fuel, more pollution) Enforce the middle lane even OUTSIDE lane users to pull over when they should/can do and you won't have to drop down from 70 a much. Therefore making the journey quicker and more economical. Plus if you FINE the idiots, then the government get cash that way
  9. Can't see it surviving Paris to the outskirts of Paris to be honest!
  10. WTF? http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/news/autoe ... _juke.html (Presuming it's a repost?)
  11. WELL peeved with this! Recorded it all, watched the first two hours (ver y good) skipped Pompei (As I have seen it loads, still great) but the the last 2 hours were just a repeat of the first two hours!!!! Gutted! Still, a great night...
  12. Quite a few people/forums/experts are saying we are going to have a bad winter. http://www.exactaweather.com/UK_Long_Ra ... ecast.html Even if not, would be good things to keep anyway. I am sure we will have some snow in the next 5-6 years, which is the minimum I want to keep the Zed for
  13. Nice one Bounty! From looking around (and at your thread) it looks like the "AutoSock" is the best of the bunch. http://www.autosock.co.uk/ Apparently the truckers use them, so they will have to be decent, plus they have the TUV rating.
  14. Are they legal? Yes... same as snow chains.... As says the transport secretary.... And the AA... http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/ov ... tyres.html
  15. Couldn't agree more Colin. The garage IS the best snow sock... May need to pop out once or twice over winter though Will read the thread you have mentioned, thanks.
  16. Very good of you Tarmac.... Not sure if the "snow socks" brand are the best... or there are others just as good which are cheaper and better value. Tarmac, do any of your suppliers do them or anything similar? People... anyone have any recommendations for these?
  17. Its their version of the GT pack for ours... 'Red Rose' package offers stiffer suspension, 18 inch alloys and racing brakes
  18. Looking like this year is going to be a BAD winter... So I am looking into some snow socks. Thinking everyone else might want some too... so I am willing to look into sorting a group buy, if enough people are interested. Caveats are, they will only be (unless it turns out easy to do) STANDARD sizes. So 225/45/18 or 245/45/18. Anyone interested.... or anyone a trader who wants to get in on the act?
  19. Probably one person who didn't look after their 03 Zed and had problems... Not sure how an 03 vs an 04 would have more/less problems
  20. eeewwww...Birdview (Captn Birdseye!) Mine is an 03... 70k on it, no probs so far... (Touch wood... eek!)
  21. Coldel is right... make sure you take your bits and bobs. I got a box of lights from eBay for a couple of quid. It's an official Nissan one, think it is for a Qashci (or what ever the hell they are) so I can wave them at the Gendarme if they pull me. Even though, as coldel says, you couldn't use them to replace the bulbs without whipping half the front end off!
