  1. Not done a proper 0-60 in mine... Did semi-proper one... but only using the BMW M Power meter... Ended up with 8.44s. I must just be driving like a grandad... either that or mine is so old it had lost more horses than everyone elses Has only done a "real" 0-60 in theirs? pre-06 and post-06?
  2. From my experience... 0-60 in the Zed takes a LOT longer than 6 seconds. More like EIGHT in real life!!! Someone going to tell me I am driving her wrong? But then again, the 0-60 times posted about cars are always way out (possible auto-box is an exeption) To get the times you see the tester's WRECK the cars.
  3. Never had any comments on the car to be honest... Not sure why you would? I mean it isn't like it is a crazy motor is it? Love mine to bits, but they are not exactly "performance" cars... or crazy expensive are they....
  4. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-moto ... o.facebook Friend of mine is selling this. Too cheap?

Midlands? Which one is in the midlands?
  7. I am a boarder... but gotta say that blades are super kool. Fancy a pair of twin tips too....
  8. (Edited OP, to show that it never had any tax on it)
  9. I agree... I am worried that the dealer COULD turn round and say "OK mate, well I will charge you a fiver a day for holding the bike for you then"
  10. Very weird this... Tam turned up with the "triple play" on Saturday. She isn't into F1 but a friend of her's said it was great, and she knows I like (OLD) F1 stuff. So we watched the extended Blue Ray version, with the extra interviews. Best film I have seen this year! (VERY closely followed by "Black Swan, which is a GREAT film!!)
  11. Very weird. I think he said he couldn't collect it very soon after he bought it ... abotu 2-3 weeks? Hard to get hold of him to ask as he is working in the middle of nowhere in India at the mo. By mate isn't back in the country for another couple of months. I think I may be passing the dealers next week when I am out on site, so I may pop in for a walk about. Problem is, I could be balshy easily with a car dealer, but I have NO idea when it comes to bikes. I took and passed my CBT years ago (expired now) but I know nothing about bikes! I know an R1 is a quick motor (could I go in saying I am looking for a donor for my kit car project?)
  12. Friend of mine bought a motor bike from a small dealer. 2008 660 Aprilla, £3500 worth. About 12 months ago. He then (through no fault of his own) ended up not being about to get his bike licence. Long story, you don't want to know. Because he never got his licence, he never picked up his bike. The dealer said he would keep the bike and try to sell it for him. Pretty decent of him. Now, my friend spends a LOT of time abroad working and has just had a text saying that the dealer was having trouble selling the bike, so he has swapped it for an R1 with another dealer! Saying it will be easier to sell. The dealer didn't ask... and technically, the bike is still my friends, as he has paid for it (even though he never filled in the V5, he has an official receipt from the dealer with the bike reg/vin no on it.) Just checked on the DVLA and the Aprilla has 7 months tax on it. [edit] 12 months ago, it had no tax on it. Was going to be given 12 months tax when it was picked up by my friend. So why would it have 7 months tax on it now....? [/edit] I am tempted to pop over to the dealers and have a look around, see what he has on his forecourt. Could the dealer have sold the bike and just not told the owner, knowing he is out of the country a lot? So, anyone have any comments on this?
  13. OMG!!! £500... what is WRONG with this motor? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p [edit]Ahhhh... read the description... "£2500 ovno" He has put the wrong price on the advert! [/edit]
  14. TVR ... every day of the week.... Can you say Sagaris?
  15. http://www.fitsugar.com/Which-Winter-Ac ... es-6566662 I was wrong
  16. I would say skiing Just because it is more "effort" to control the two, rather than one. But if you do it right... neither burns many at all
  17. I thought Rav's and Jimnys and alike were all petrol's? (in that price range anyway) Don't you want diesel for a 4x4?
  18. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p SHED!

    Too cheap?

If you DO get it ... and it DOES have a warranty, then for gods sake, spent £200 taking it to an expert (Abbey, Horsham etc) for them to go over it with a tooth-comb. DO NOT GO TO NISSAN!!! I bought a 1Series for Tam early this year, came with a warranty, took it to BMW, paid them £50 to chekc "everything" on it. They said everything but the tyres were fine and wanted to flog me the tyres. Then 2 weeks AFTER the warranty ran out, the Diff died (£2k) then last week the turbo died (another £2k) the guy who is fixing the car says the turbo alerts are recoded on the ECU since BEFORE I bought it!!!!
  20. +1 for What'sApp ... I have an iPhone for work (which I HATE) but I have a PROPER phone for personal use... i.e. an Android phone... and I use WhatsApp on both. Quality app!
  21. No problem at all, I know how VERY frustrating it is when you can't find something you need. LOADS of peeps on here have helped me out before.. so if I can help other people, then it's just keeping the good Karma in this place going. If you need the PDF, just PM me, I can email it over
  22. HA HA ... FOUND IT!!!! Page 100 on the Atc.pdf.... "Ambient Sensor Circuit The ambient sensor is attached on the hood lock stay. It detects ambient temperature and converts it into a resistance value which is then input into the unified meter and A/C amp. (auto amp.)"
  23. Can't find the location of the damn sensor though!!! Found this... might be close... http://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v ... ensor.html
  24. Check the PDF's ... sure they will tell you...
