  1. Cheers... The colour is more yellow than the pics show, I didn't take the photo's. but it is closer to the yellow in the darker image than the others, if not MORE yellow.
  2. Nice.... This is the Ex-AA model 'Top of the range' .... 102 PS (75 kW; 101 bhp) @ 3,500 250 N·m (184 ft·lbf) @ 1,900 BUT ... it has just had '150 bhp' injectors put on it... and will be getting a re-map as soon as I get hold if it. Can't WAIT to get it..... also means I will be able to properly SORN the Zed over next winter and only tax it for 6 months
  3. Been offline for a while with working away from home and having Crimbo. But the GOOD news is, with the extra cash I have had from working on site.... I have bought a "shed" ..... Quite a bit of work to do to it. 2.5 T4 SWB What do you think?

  7. It's OK Doogy, im not going to drive any faster As Dave says... I just hope they ARE getting points. Seems like lots and lots of people doing it.
  8. Been spending quite a bit of time on the motorway the last few weeks... Mostly up and down the M6 J10A - J8 and back. Where the variable speed cameras are, that control speeds up and down. One set will say 50, the next may say 60 then switch between them all or just stay at one all the way. Anyway, I always stick to the specified speed. If it is 50, I will do 50-55. 60, I will do 60-66. While I am doing this LOADS of cars come past me doing at least 70-80. Just wondered if anyone knew if these impatient people get punished for it or not? Just out of interest....
  9. Cheers dude.... You in NZ? I work for Orion Health ;-)
  10. I can't find the exact shot... but it is a variation on this one: Was parked on 2" of solid ice. I stopped, put the handbrake on and it took be 5 mins to push the car by hand to stop it sliding!! Think it was worth it though. Was a cold day... this was taken when the car was in the garage that morning...
  11. Gotta say cheers to everyone for looking after my old man. Says he had a great time and bought quite a bit. (Hope Tim gets kick backs!) Special thanks to Shire350Z who he mentioned specifically, cheers for putting up with him!
  12. Just a quick gloat.... Loving the Calender this month Waited a year for it... Just wish it didn't have those AWFUL bloody alloys on it
  13. You should defo do the "£20 refundable on arrival" thing. Would stop people "forgetting" ... I bet!
  14. Cheers guys.... Thing is, if I had seen these pics on Friday I would have been VERY happy with them. But now I KNOW what my camera can do, I just want to go back and get the BETTER images I know I am now capable of!!! Still, the beginners day was great and they taught me how to use my camera better. Just need Wasso to clean my car and I know I will get better images of it now.

  19. Some nice stuff there bud... Specially the LOG and Down. I am pretty lucky, my drum teacher is Carl Stokes from Cancer!
  20. Yeah big +1 Love Paddy, that film was filmed up the road from me in Matlock and other parts of Derbyshire. Another good film, same director is A room for Romeo Brass Defo big props for Dead Mans Shoes... fantastic film! A room for Romeo Brass was also good but I preferred DMS.
  21. Like Tescos? Care to explain how a mate of mine recently got an 18 month ban for doing some second gear donuts in a Tesco carpark after he got caught on CCTV? Good to see a few people have 'fessed up to be a little bit naughty from time to time, I just cant abide the holier than thou thing when its a kid doing it, we were all there once. The fact its going to cost a good few hundred bucks to change the clutch is probably enough of a deterrent to do it again anyway I just thought it was funny that he was moaning in one thread that his insurance was so high.... then in this one confessing to killing his clutch by doing donuts in another. Cause and effect
  22. Good call that, I am 36, have driven a whole host of cars and some fast ones on tracks but then you see what other people can do and you realise what amateurs most of us really are I fully intend to take an advanced driving course in the very near future I can't recommend the IAM enough. I did my test... and got a F1RST
  23. between 2700-6000 And now you know why your insurance is so high. Insurance companies statistically think people your age are more likely to kill/damage their cars doing donuts. And you have just proved them right. Then WE wonder why OUR insurance premiums are so high... Yep, coz donuts statistically cause thousands of road injuries and body damage to cars evey year, and insurance companies pay out millions for worn clutches. Its his car, if he wants to stunt about a bit then its up to him. Only thing Id mention is that any car park accessible from the road counts as public, so if there was CCTV as well you might have bigger issues than a f00bed clutch Im sure you can see the point I am getting at. Even on a carpark, he could have lost it and hit another car, rather than just knackering his clutch. I am NOT saying I haven't done it myself! .... Just pointing out the reason young drivers insurance is so high.
  24. I'd want to speak to the people he owes the cash to before even making an offer. Sounds complex but you MIGHT get a decent price as people scared of it might not want to touch it with a barge pole. I would say YOU paying it off would be the better option, then you KNOW it has been paid. But find out who the money is owed to and how much. Plus if it will be extra for YOU to pay it (you never know with these things!) Keep us posted.
