  1. Only being devils advocate mate but how the hell did you puncture a tyre on a pot hole at car park speeds? Did it rip it open or something?
  2. These things are very handy for locking nuts (assuming they're small enough). We took a set off and put them back on with no damage whatsoever on a Focus the other week. http://pages.ebay.co...id=391007749349 Obviously they are also the reason why locking wheel nuts are useless on the basis that any crook can just buy one of these! For the removal of "damaged wheel nuts"... suuuuuuuure lol Neilsen.......tools for the criminal underbelly of the UK! Seriously though they do work really well on a rounded nut.

  4. What type of code reader are you using? If it's a cheapy you might be better getting a more advanced scanner on the job.
  5. Yeah he's got a HR bonnet on it I think.
  6. Pete's is silver. Carolines is gunmetal but its a 'vert
  7. 3mg?! I think they gave me 12mg is that strong or not? I thought it was medium to weak!
  8. I've seen this used a few times and it's very subtle. It goes on like permanent paint but apparently you can also buy a remover. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAIL-LIGHT-HEAD-LIGHT-TINTING-TINT-SPRAY-BLACK-400ML-BACK-LIGHT-SPRAY-/251743504724
  9. Beat me to it. Huskys were quality but I don't think he does them anymore. Might have some old stuff lying around though
  10. Also I totally get what the OP is on about with the 'throat hit'. You really need that to make these things work for you I reckon.
  11. I've got Mint, Lemon and Bubblegum! It's only a little starter jobbie but it looks pretty (anodised Blue) and deffo tastes better than a real one! It's too easy to say 'let's have a fag and a brew' when you're in a unit that's 2 degrees so I thought I better do something. Especially as I'm not going running or to the gym anymore.
  12. Definitely the same sort of noise a failed ARB droplink would make. That said I had a similar noise under similar circumstances, changed the links and it did bugger all.
  13. Bought one while I was in Edinburgh over Xmas and I must say it's made a difference. I don't really want to 'give up' and I'm a very light smoker (4-6 rollies a day) but I do want to cut it out in work as it makes me feel grim. Had one real fag on NYE and half of a rollie today! Addicted to nicotine like a son of a bitch now like but hey ho
  14. Bearing in mind Tim has to use an air fed respirator when applying the liquid elements stuff
  15. I know Envy use Opticoat and Liquid Elements ceramics. From what I've heard it's pretty hard core stuff. Adds a few permanent microns to the paint (essentially becoming a second hard as nails clearcoat)
  16. Sweet Jesus he said the name out loud! NEVER say the same out loud it gives them power!!!
  17. Do you mean a 'removed' member. Yeah a few bods have asked for their accounts to be deleted over the years. Some big posters too.
  18. Feel your pain. I was sat at a roundabout Sith traffic lights the other day and a new rangerover pulled away, hammered into my wing and drove off! I did consider pursuing but on the basis it's my smashed up Astra anyway and the fact I had 2 rather tasty looking Wok and Go takeaways perched on the seat next to me I just drove home instead
  19. Might be Eichar discs.......think they're made of plastic.
  20. I was going to have a quiet week but it's gone nuts at work. Coming in on Xmas eve to do a Maserati now!
  21. Looks awesome mate. I nearly bought this car from Dene8 you know.
