It is actually within the 12 months but I reckon they would ping what had happened a mile off. The bearings in the pump have shattered and punched through the casing......I guessing there's only one reason that would happen! Lol

This is why I like Tradelink even though they're much maligned. People moan about how they occasionally sell the car because they dont get treated like theyre buying a Bentley but they never moan about the car once theyve got it. Subtance over style always wins out in the end. At least you've ended up with a decent motor pal. Enjoy

Given that we're doing similar sorts of work at the moment I guess that makes you the competition and I've got to say........^ that is an absolutely awesome job.

I'm sort of interested in the caliper as a donor part to do some custom paint and sell them on but can't make my mind up. Shame you're not a bit closer really. They'll cost a bomb to post.

The worst thing about that is Shire was dressed bear identical but just carried it off and took no abuse. So not only was a badly dressed but I couldn't even pull it off!

I'm fairly sure Tim (Envy Valeting) offers Opticoat for far less than a main stealer. Pretty sure that's ceramic -
Oh just noticed you said you weren't doing the plenum! Yes bud loads of sand paper - start course and work up to fine. Takes hours still!

Seriously mate I know everyone likes to 'have a go' but seriously the time and equipment Wasso and Mark have to use just makes it a no brainier to give it to them. I managed a half decent job on my old plenum.......it took me about 16 hours and about 40 quid of consumables plus a new dremel!

There's a company round the corner from us who are professional wrappers and their work is unbelievable. I couldn't have told you it wasn't paint from the photos. That said they charge a bomb!

You'll never replicate real carbon but it's not far off. Personally I hate working with the hateful stuff. Getting the lines straight is like herding cats!
