  1. Probably wouldn't. Perhaps 90 out is enough to run but badly. Don't quote me on the 4 ways thingie. I'm trying to remember what our mech said ......Alex knows better. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Don't remember any dowel pin on the one we did though Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. Isn't there 4 different ways you can mount the fly and only 1 is right......I seem to recall us learning that the hard way! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. Stunner! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. Looks decent enough pal Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Do not use fecking shitsaway for the love of god. If you wanted a tooth removing would you get the dentist to do it on your drive? 250 is a good quote pal. Small scratch big panel......panel has to be sprayed to get it right not just the damaged area Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. Cheapest route in would be Bilt Hamber clay bar Kestrel something or another or Meguiars G220D polisher. Best megium pad you can afford Meguiars ultimate compound (chock full of fillers so don't expect true paint correction) Wax of your choice (I like R222 Concourse wax) Costco do bumper packs of microfibers - always fold them into a smaller square so sewn edges are tucked away. Slow starting speed to spread the compound taking it up to 3 or 4 and polish in overlapping runs then change direction by 90 degrees and again do overlapping runs. Work a small area (bonnet should be around 4 work areas) one at a time. Change microfibers frequently. Don't panic too much about damaging the paint......you'd have to be fairly spesh to damage paint with an entry level DA and ultimate compound (possible but pretty difficult ) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. Must admit I did get asked a few times when I had the zed if it was a porker. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

You might be surprised when you get the car back though........placebo effect if not mate - just convince yourself that it's driving better! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

On the plus side some people spend hundreds getting their car to steer better so after a period of skittish steering you're in for a treat! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. Bit of snake oil in my opinion. Zed should be fairly well designed to ensure major electricals are well grounded out from the factory. I think the idea is that they provide a 'better' ground for components and therefore a more reliable and stable electrical circuit. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Dude what's left I can't really make it out. Might buy the lot off you Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. Absolutely pal. The manufacturer's do give the average car driver the snake oil treatment about 'more power' and 'better fuel economy'. Essentially it's all about not blowing your high performance engine to smithereens. That said plenty of sports cars don't need high octane either Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. Best guess.....you'll never really know but we've enough forum cars having problems and the most common and consistent way that people could be causing the issue is through use of wrong fuel. Don't forget a knock sensor has to detect a knock first before altering its mapping which means detonation has already taken place. If the car says use high octane then you need to use it.....period. If your mousing round in a Nissan micra that doesn't need it then yes there is practically no advantage to sticking high octane fuel in.
  16. I have 12 months worth of forum posts with 'help my engine shat a piston' to counter the argument with
  17. ^^ This is true. We've one in our work place. He's the cleaner but "apparently" he's a genius, just doing the cleaning job as the hours suit him & he doesn't need the money, ...all the women want him as well "apparently". Grade A bul*sh**ting to**er. Is his name matt Damon? lol To start with I thought that said my name, literally was about to throw a fit Teaches me to skim read Lol I've only just realised that Aliveboy and Matt Dedman are the same person! Stoopid being friends of multiple amounts of media!
  18. If you removed it it wouldn't be a fail put it that way. Probably failed on the basis of 'excessive underbody corrosion' perhaps? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  19. Sorry half cut Old slave has a seal that gets stuck......New slave has a new seal. Old seal causes a blockage Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Slave cylinder fitted incorrectly. The slave has a seal on it and it gets stuck. When you fit the new one it creates a blockage and pops the new slave. Happened to me and it was a right git! 2007 astra H though Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. Be VERY careful wet sanding zed paint especially where you can't take paint depth readings Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. Literally cannot express how close I am to getting myself a ban here. Violation of forum codes section 1 through 2494. Time to walk away from this thread methinks. Dan your a bigger man than I. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. For once (and it's taken about 6 years) I am going to disagree on that one mate. This has come up many times and often threads that are turbo locked pop up asking where someone is or why they were banned. Not being pernickety but it does dude. As I said it doesn't really fuss me but I can really see where Doc is coming from and but i can also see why it would be potentially a bad idea. Ultimately as it stands we don't create any ridiculous defamation law suits and anyone with enough nouse or forum mates with their ear to the ground will work it out.
