  1. Booo hiss to rival detailers 😋😠Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  2. The company i work from the same unit are a good garage bud. CBM automotive in sandycroft. Hes by no means marketed as a 350/370z specialist but we have them in here all the time. He does all the servicing for revitup so between the 2 of us theres always plenty of precious metal in here. Not VAT reg either. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  3. Envys Iron Awe smells a bit better. Tims put some sort of fragrance in it to cover the ammonia smell Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  4. You'll need to wet sand them out. Any detailer worth his salt can do it for you. Where are you based? I may be able to recommend a colleague Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  5. Crotchless mankinis? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  6. Hey bud. You're pretty local to us (we're in Sandycroft). Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  7. Im happy to organise the static part meeting at our unit. Theres plenty of space on a saturday for parking then you can all bugger off for a drive if you like. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  8. If I had any business acumen at all id set up a detailing zone for folks and sell my wares Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah yeah. Whatever 😂 Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  10. Ooo hang on the missus came up trumps and found a more covered up shot Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  11. Surely along the same lines as the 3M stuff? Can anyone really guarantee that if the wind gets under it at 130mph it won't pull it off? Seriously buy some just to have in the house anyway and give it a go on something else first. Its vicious! I nearly pulled my finger nail off with a bit once. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  12. Seriously Mammoth tap from toolstation. It is unbelievably strong. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  13. Clearly you know what your doing so please dont see this as me telling you how to suck eggs (nice work btw) but be bleeding careful wetsanding anything on a zed. The paints like fricking paper. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  14. Ive got a pic of me in a mankini but its got a bollock hanging out so not really suitable for posting Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  15. I can refurb them for you but i wouldnt like to crack the headlight open to clean the inside......thats cost my busting the lens and buying you a new light written all over it! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  16. AG is gash. Scholl is good. Meguiar 105 and 205 are very decent and easy to work with. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  17. Hellshine Pain is a pretty good glass cleaner. FAB isn't bad, but I've not found it to be any better than a few others so it doesn't really stand out to me. And it's bright pink and smells of strawberries On the topic of shampoos, suds are a personal thing (I prefer enough to show there's some shampoo in the water at least) but they do nothing to aid the performance of a shampoo. It's all psychological because that's what we've been taught to expect from shampoos. FAB is blue and smells of clean linen?! Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  18. Look at my face. Do I look smug? I feel smug. Ironically "Coincidentally" the one, lone product of theirs I don't hate is the one that isn't a bright colour, nor is it particularly cheap either. (not ironically, that's very much the wrong word!) FAB is decent the fabric cleaner but not overly impresses by anything else Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  19. Rule of thumb for detailing products for me is; 1. Smells of banana or other sickly fruit. Probably not very good. 2. Comes in an eye catching colour. Probably not very good. 3. Ilogikal says its good.....its probably good. 4. My respected industry peers use it. Its probably good. 5. If you have to pay a subscription to be 'approved' to use it, is probably not very good. SiRamik for example.......small company, doesnt promise the earth and wont make claim it cant back up. You cant buy your way into approval and the guys i know who are approved are very, very good detailers. As said above some small companies are making excellent products but the big boys will still sell because 'gucci' detailing kit will always sell because of the badge and because its bright green and smells of a monkeys lunch. Autobrite for example are absolutely bang average products (with the exception of a few) but theyre all bright colours, sweet smells amd relatively cheap prices so people go mad for it. You have to ask the question if the product has a smell, a colour AND a cheap price then less development must of gone into the functional ability of the product itself. My tuppenceworth anyway. 20. Superb work on the interior bits. The lacquer aquagraphix sell/use is supposed to be mega. Im still to bite the bullet and try some but it quite literally is Liquid Glass. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  21. I had the diesel as well. Terrible choice by myself but i was trying to balance running costs with economy. The 2l turbo petrol is a far superior car and virtually comparable running costs. You lose the quattro but thats no bad thing to be honest I had quite a few problems with it but it was all under warranty Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  22. Surfactants debond (lift) the dirt which is great. Its removing them from the paint without scratching thats the issue. Chocked full of fillers to give you that nice shiny swirl free look.......well until they wash out a day later. Only useful as clay lube if you ask me Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  23. ^ white is a bastard at the best of times.....3 stage pearl 😣 Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  24. Set of mole grips not do the job? Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
  25. My dads got a 59 USA strat. Allegedly (but not documented) played by Lennon back in the day. And i think hes got a 63(?) SG. Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
