Welcome! Quite a few peeps have swapped it out for a Exedy clutch. I think Zmanalex sells these. Apparently it makes it easier but they do generate mixed opinion To be honest the engine is so versatile I don't find it too laborious to drive......unless you spend a lot of time in traffic jams

Its been there a fair while but given that the economy is fecked I'm not surprised at anything like that hanging around in honesty. The fact that its bright Yellow will also restrict the number of purchasers. This whole business about 'dodgy dealers'...whilst I appreciate there are some real sharks out there I doubt there are dealers who actually go out just to find gash cars. The difference is the service really - your just as likely to find a dog Zed at a Nissan garage as you are in Joe Bloggs Car Emporium. Mostyn Garage is your typical small enterprise who've got a decent sized forecourt, usually have a fairly decent selection of sports cars and probably got a couple of mechs working in the garage at the back. He prob wont budge on price as its just been reduced so he's sticking to his guns. Unless they've got a fairly decent money laundering operation on the go I'd hazard a guess they're quite successful given the types of cars they sell (having a Ferrari and various Porsches on the forecourt is no small amount of money to tie up in stock). I'd just do what you would normally do when buying a car (whomever you get it from).........check it thoroughly and make sure your happy with it. If not walk. I'm literally down the road from it if you want me to take a closer peek? EDIT - Also you'll be surprised just how good you can get the leather looking with a bit of Gliptone cleaner and conditioner. Might not even need a repair.

Depends what your budget is like mate......£330 gets you a brand spanking Scorpion or Cobra both of which are well discussed on here and fairly well liked - fitment is good. Little bit (£450ish) more gets you into Magnex territory (not heard of anyone having one but they used to be good) and a a lot more gets Millteck and HKS. Remortgage gets Nismo. Depends how long your looking to keep the car but getting a stainless could save you money in the long run if its got a decent warranty.

The general consensus is you get what you pay for. They're apparently not exactly bad but fitment is an issue.......a decent garage shouldn't have too much bother but it will push the fitment price up - therefore you might as well pay a bit more and get one that will fit first time. Tis up to you though

Fitting your self........ if you existing zorst has been on for a long time don't bother get someone else to fit. It will be a nightmare. The bolts sometimes need heating up to get undone. If you decide to tackle yourself, get some new gaskets and some instant gasket stuff (not from Halfrauds cos its really expensive) and should take about an hour with two peeps I asked the same question when fitting mine.........for the sake of 40 quid can you really be arsed? Get it to the garage and put your feet up

just had a scorpion put on ours. Sounds awesome but only when you want it. my only negative is the look. personally I'm not too keen now its on but many love the look neilp has one too and he love it. Think he's running decats too.

I wish I had a single ounce of entreprenurial (can't even spell the frigging word!) spirit about me.........it might save me from turning to mulch in this chair listening to morons 5 days a week. Me personally........I like to own things. In 3 years you'll still have whatever Supercar you buy and it will be worth 'something'. Driving someone elses toys for the princely sum of 12k a month seems a bit like a REALLY expensive experience day to me (which I despise but I know some of you love). I know its difficult to talk about your personal weath without sounding like a knob but if you can afford a supercar then you surely can afford to run it? If you can't then in my book your stretching too far over what your wallet can handle.
