  1. A bit of mayo on the cap isn't too tragic. If it's on the dipstick then there's more to worry about. I doubt I'd walk away from it just for having an invoice saying 'investigate lack of power'......We see 20 threads a week on here where someone is having an issue with something or another......cars break.......cars get fix......life plods on Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  2. Post the things you're unsure about up here too bud .....We may be able to advise from afar! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  3. Bumpers handy for clearing snow I guess Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  4. To be fair I could say from a basic pre detail decontamination Alloy cleaner Iron fallout remover Hand clean alloys Citrus pre clean snow foam Jetwash De tar Hand wash Jetwash Claybar Jetwash Rinse aid Jetwash Dry You could add a couple of other bits in as well and we're already up to quite a few so they geezer might not be too far off the pace. Perhaps he's just trying to simplify it for Joe public To me he cheapens it by dividing it into 2 stages. Sounds like a 'good wash' and a 'quick polish' rather than a full and considered decontamination and single stage machine correction Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  5. 101 point presale check when buying a new car springs to mind......loosely translated as an MOT! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  6. Hazards flash hmmmm. Immobiliser problem? Zmanalex might be the man with the plan on this one? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  7. Livingstones get a other vote from me Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  8. I totally get your reasons for going GTR mate with the work situation but I can't help feel it's a bit like weighing up fillet steak or lobster for tea and settling on a tesco finest pizza. Nowt wrong with the pizza but it's not quite a comparable to the other 2. Then again steak and lobster are a pain in the arse to cook whereas a pizza just gets slat in the oven I'm hungry Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  9. The trouble is for this guy he's got half a million of metal on the drive and the choice between crows pecking and scratching the hell out of it or putting a cover on it and swirling it to buggery! Either way £££££ Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  10. ^250 quid fleece lined custom cover btw Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  11. Nah it'll be fine mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  12. I do think they look a bit pony to be honest. Dipping would be twice the price but more effective in the long term. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  13. Or just avoid Nissan all together on the basis that it adds practically zero value to your car and they are in the main total morons. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  14. This ^ Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  15. Pretty sureTarmac Sportz also stock them. 1000's of us had them fitted. You'll lose some bhp to heatsoak but the noise will make up for it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

You can solve some airbubbles by putting a very small slit in the vinyl and working the air out. Not sure if the pros strictly agree with that one but it works for us amateurs. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  17. Top effort mate. Dare say I couldn't of done better myself Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  18. Or drop a bolt down the intake (husky) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  19. If you can wield a spanner you'll be fine with it. Fine to drive with it on. The ecu should compensate for the increased airflow (is the general consensus) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  20. Exactly what I've done... See which body shop gets back to use first 😉 Sent from my potato using duct tape Gonna have to back out. Going to be £600 for paint and repair bit to much for me just to change the bonnet. Wow... A hammer and a tin of Hammerite will sort that right out 😉 Sent from my potato using duct tape Haha. If I was to just paint it black it would be fine but to paint same as the car then all surrounding panels would need to be blended in and that's a big job. Polyfiller and cheap Cheap ebay carbon wrap and that'll look 👌🼠I'll stop with the rough Corsa B fixes soon, I promise Sent from my potato using duct tape Nothing worse than fake Carbon fiber :/ I'd like to disagree but I've actually got this very fix on my astra......and it looks.....Well very corsa-B-esque Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  21. I'm running retreads on my astra and they rock. *gets defibrillator for Dan* Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  22. Tim at envy sells a quality lance. Mines still going strong 7 years later and I use it commercially now. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  23. Get a bottle of food colouring and put a few drops in. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
  24. Autosmart ultra moose is mega foamy. Envy Valeting do a good ph neutral one. Not mega foamy but ultimately it's about getting the car clean and not making it look like it's been snowed on. CSP also do a good one similar to Envy......Low cling but good cleaning Both envy and CSP as far as im aware are TFR free. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

I'd say that's about right/cheap to be honest if it's a decent quality vinyl. I've done my astra. It's bloody hard. At least a 2 man job for an amateur and very frustrating! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
