Easy bud.....get it to your local reputable alloy wheel repair dude. Usually anywhere from 200-350 for a refurb and respray/powder coat.
Loads have had it done.....try a little searchy for 'black rays'
Ahhhhh theres nothing quite the Zeds V8 is there.
Its probably worth noting that with this being an owners club/forum the cars that come up for sale on here are in the vast majority of cases very well looked after and therefore unlikely to be selling for bargain basement prices......cash buyer or not.
Ebay might be a good place to start with a 6k budget - expect a CAT d though.
Can't do any harm to ring around - I'm sure you could get your hands on a new blank service book to post off to them.
If its got no history and you've not had a service done yourself then most people would probably recommend having a P3 done just to make sure.
......and still no information about yourself.
With £6500 to spend on a mint condition, uk car, with less than 80k on it.........your not a serious buyer.
Your names not Jeffery Cole is it!

Your supposed to be in the Atlantic collecting new and rare species of Seahorse not on here looking for cars!
Immediately obvious that your desperate to get into Zed ownership which is always a bad place to be when making a difficult decision on a car........if you can afford to spend more then I'd seriously consider walking. If this is your budget then yes your going to need to take a punt on something like this.
Lets assume that said slacker is a rich boy with no respect for something as valuable as a Zed and he drives it like that all the time - if it has got patchy history whats been in that engine whilst he's been ragging it.
You know straight away that your probably going to need a new battery (if the winters killed it I wouldn't be surprised if its goosed) and a P3 service - your already in 7k territory.
Good luck whatever you decide
For 6.5k you might get one with 'bits' of it that are nice if thats any use?
..........also aside from knowing you've got around £6500 cash burning a hole in your sky rocket we still don't really know much about you.
They have some fitment issues apparently mate. Nothing too serious but still will require some modifications.
Scorpion is a good option and Tarmac is a trader for them. Looks good and sounds throaty when you need it but sedate the rest of the time.
i was going to say, "get paul to do it"
Your having a giraffe aren't you - didn't you see my double hard snow foam lance pose she put on facebook........If I wasn't around the cars would just be a giant rolling block of mud
Sorry mate I actually meant the inside of the screen - out side seems fine but I just streak the buggery out of the interior so they end up worse than when I started!
Various glass polishes, normal household glass cleaner, turtle wax glass cleaner, RainX Clean and Protect, glass wipes (worst pile of gash I've ever come across).
Never thought about a claybar though.
