  1. If you've not got any clay and you want to have a crack at it you can bring it round mine when I get back from Germany if you like Pete
  2. visit to Hockenheimring and the Auto Museum today with our very own Thomas Sorensen........and his trouser browningly fast Zed Keeping up with someone with 100 bhp more on a de-restricted autobahn is not the easiest job in the world.........especially when faced with a traffic jam just as you hit 120mph! Forgot to bring the lead for the camera with me but I'll stick some piccies up when we get back. Big thanks to Thomas for meeting up and leading us round - we both had a really great day
  3. Carla want it too.......unless she wants to watch me
  4. How am I supposed to know where Coventry is......I only venture out of the 'shire once every 10 years! We'll see you on the way back you moaning mutt!

    Blue Haze

V6's definitely 'steam' a lot in the morning but that should be white not Blue which would suggest oil which is a more concerning - i'm sure the experts will be along to advise soon enough.
  11. Roof up - don't like the roadster Roof down and it somehow totally changes into an UBERCOOL car - think it must be the 'double hump' tonneau thingy.
  12. Cheers mate. More so on my Lancer I seem to get really tiny hairline scratches that are white but you don't seem to be able to feel them with a fingernail.......suppose it could just have really thin paint - seems to stone chip like a biatch too.
  13. ..............actually is that silver or GM??? Can't tell because of the sun?
  14. Excellent work - not normally a silver fan but being converted by the recent efforts on here!
  15. My old man did the same thing with a guitar in the 70's - ended up swapping it because it wouldn't sell.........worth 35k now if he'd kept it!
  16. Give it time.........pure and simple HAS to be a future classic - maybe not in the mold breaking 'car of a generation' kind of way but I'll definitely be a future retro classic.
  17. Bullitt - something I've been meaning to ask Tim at Envy for a while but you may be able to answer....... When you have a scratch (even a really light one) it always seems to be white underneath which I've always assumed meant it was down to the undercoat.........so how does machine polishing get rid of it? I'm only using a DA so its never going to do the proper corrections but I've never understood how it works? Or am I looking at something thats not undercoat?
  18. Sorry Coldel I misread your post - didn't see the linky after your 'would this be any good bit' I thought you meant you had some Poorboys.
  19. For under 50 squid I'd say the badges - especially as I turned the 'Z' off the back into a free Mod for the cubby in the car
  20. Black Hole does a giant wee on anything else I've used on any car - it rules! You can really see how it fills the swirls and light scratches up. Never seen it in 'tub' form? Its usually in a bottle and smells quite edible......in fact does anyone else have an urge to eat most of their cleaning products?? They all seem to smell so good!!!
  21. Getting a pressure washer is like getting a special tool for a one off job - you might not think it'll some in handy but you'll be glad you've got it!
  22. I watched a Wheeler Dealers the other day when they were doing the e-type Jag and they had some old wire wheels cleaned and refurbed - pretty much a professional job every time I reckon.
