  1. ......I may have taken some artistic licence with that recollection. I agree with Ian though....if we hadn't met husky previously and therefore had someone to latch onto it would of been pretty awkward until the mingling had commenced. Maybe name badges would help but I wouldn't want us to look like we've rocked up on a 'sunshine bus'
  2. What a shocking opinion people have of me. After the 50th raffle draw Daves spirit finally broke
  3. Technically thats not 100% correct........we did have chat about your NoS issues but you'd drowned your sorrows by that point and eyes were pointing in the wrong direction so it prob didn't register I guess that was when the car was being repaired, you should have introduced yourself. I was as you say drowning my sorrows at the thought of devastation!! nope it was about 10.30 at night when I was at the bar querying with the barman why he thought anyone would ever want a whiskey and lemonade (as opposed to the Vodka and lemo, complete with slice of lemon and mini umbrella that I ordered for Husky). You we're telling me about 7th injectors, angles of injection, wizards of NOS and a Lion, Tinman, Scarecrow and things........throughout all of which I did a pretty good impression of a man who understood what you were on about - you obviously weren't aware that you were talking to Paul 'King of mechanical spodship' 'Ricey' Rice
  4. Mate I'm out and about in taffyland walking dogs or some such merriment. I'll wave as you pass
  5. Technically thats not 100% correct........we did have chat about your NoS issues but you'd drowned your sorrows by that point and eyes were pointing in the wrong direction so it prob didn't register
  6. They are like a greased otter in fairness.
  7. SpursMadFred At least I didn't get the usual Ryan Giggs association given his recent antics!
  8. Repaying the engine bits I did the other week in purple flip and panther black.......looking ok thus far!
  9. It definitely felt well organised and as noob was good to have people who clearly knew what they were doing buzzing around. Very good venue for price, standard and location. Also good that whilst we were driving pretty sensibly the pack leaders were still encouraging some spirited driving (which I think me and Tarmac agreed, was about as fast as either of us felt comfortable going!). Slightly depressing seeing some of the cars as I was quite pleased with ours until I saw some of the others! Against - a total lack of tolerance for double denim and an inordinate amount of abuse and accusations of being a chutney ferret were aimed in my direction! Philistines!!!!
  10. i though Snakes on a Plane was quite good .........Ian you tard we re-clarified that he meant Snakes on a Train (the gyppo SyFy remake)
  11. Do you need to link off site? Via a photosprocket account or some such site?
  12. 30 in 6th has worked for me too........as said wouldn't really want to accelerate in it but for general bumping along in a 30 zone its fine for me...........if for no better reason than it stops you accidentally accelerating breaking the speed limit..............doesn't it Husky
  13. Now do you mean Snakes on a Plane Chris?? That was gash film but pretty big budget and mainstream. Or do you mean the SyFy version called Snakes on a ..................Train http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snakes_on_a_Train
  14. Your obviously unaware of the delights of Syfy................Giant Octopus Vs Mega Shark, Aliens Vs Monsters (with the rather spurious abbreviation AvM..........the Alien/Predator franchise lawyers must be seething about that one). I think Dino Croc vs Komodo Dragon was another!
  15. Loads of stuff it could be mate - put creak and clunk into searchy and you'll be surprised at the number of hits. Sometimes its a process of elimination (most likely the drop links though). ................and stop driving like a mongtard!
  16. Other smallish cheapish things could be - Some custom lighting from Husky (Akari Designs). - Swapping the Nissan badges for aftermarket burgers - Swapping the grill out for a mesh one (zunsport?) - Popcharger ( the sound of a lion with a bee-stung testicle) - Forum slam panel (club merchandise) - Spacers (OEM wheels sit too far in the arch - don't bother if your swapping to aftermarkets) - A giant 'On a Mission' sunstrip
  17. In whatever you like bud........there are tonnes of different finishes these days and they can be more hard wearing than paint. Not trying to widdle on your bonfire or owt - just another option if the group buy doesn't come off.
  18. Not to be overly negative - and I do agree with Peter to an end - but do be careful with what you buy though. Whilst most things can be sorted for under 1k what you don't want is 5 things coming up at the same time - its not unheard of for people to buy a used and abused Zed being hit with the clutch, clicky axle, wheel bearing, ABS sensors, bits of trim all in quick succession.........chuck in a couple of duff tyres and shot pads and discs and your into some serious money. Choose wisely and take your time - there are some nasty ones out there.
