  1. To be honest I tend to judge people on the mongy things they say rather than the way the spell them. For example I'd judge these 2 imaginary people in the same manner; 1. This BMW pulled up along side me at the lights so I purged some NOS out of my bonnet at him and raced him to the next set of lights. 2. Man da Beemer was chukkin his nutz at da lights so I's squirted me ting at him and bombed ma whip until he wuz toast. However its plainly obvious that one is a complete dick with a fast car and a particularly small penis. The 2nd is 37% retarded 22 year old chav who's upgraded from a Nova and bought one of those stick on chip thingys for £10 off ebay. Beyond that I'm not really fussed by how people spell or punctuate things.
  2. Care to elaborate? Haha, don't think it would be very ethical of me to name names, but lets say some exhaust combinations sound excruciatingly, ear splittingly bad when wrung out! I reckon its fairly obvious to anyone with ears who your talking about! Each to their own like but frig me.......not my cup of sparrows if I'm honest. It was almost worse than the sound of a man having a hedgehog forcibly inserted into him.
  3. It totally depends on how you bond with the car. I love the Zed.....its truly the first car I have ever categorically loved - there's nothing I hate about it (thus far!). Now my RX8.........if I was super rich and wouldn't of missed the money I would of paid someone to strip it piece by piece and drop it into molten lead to ensure it didn't inflict its hateful-self upon anyone else.........others (Lexx, Stan ETC) couldn't get enough off theirs though.
  4. 1st one is overpriced to me - import and higher miler compared to what you can get........methinks your getting lead astray by White cars 2nd one looks good - UK GT spec, cheaper and lower miles. Leather is a little ropey but you can get good kits to bring it back to life. Zorst doesn't look stock to me - stainless aftermarket job. If your pitching tent for a white one just get the cheapest tightest Zed you can find and get it wrapped. I think your looking at about a grand for a wrap but pm RT Performance for a quote (seen their work in the flesh and its top notch).
  5. Chap FTW!!!!!!!!!!! Useless he aint!
  6. no bother - is it like this. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... +tools+%2F
  7. yep back to the dealer with a frown and a scowl.........don't stop scowling until they fix it Something along these lines should do it........
  8. Its is just a single 'beep' or is it a 'beep...............beep...............beep' or a 'beepbeepbeepbeepbeep'?
  9. My Dremmel is about 15 or 16 years old,and still going strong, and it's had a lot of heavy use. Whats the right model to get Chris? I've been reading through are there are tonnes!
  10. I'm really looking forward to this - I love the Lakes......and I love Zeds
  11. Ricey

    timing chain

A quick searchy suggests not - unless anyone knows better?
  12. Quick update on the strut - wire wheel drill bit = paint stripped in less than an hour Draper Redline multi-tool - broke in 5 mins and was so powerful you could actually stop it with your fingers. Halfords multi-tool = broke in 5 mins - burnt out..........back to the shop it goes. Basically for anyone who was wondering - a Dremel is expensive but basically isn't going to fall to bits the first time you use it Strut end bits have been rubbed down, primed, Ford Panther Black base coat, Purple Flip over coat. I'll take the strut through the various sanding grades tomorrow then get laquering!
  13. £35 for pop charger, scorpion zorst (on Zed) and engine piggyback chip on my lancer
  14. Do you have an extraordinarily large nose that hits the horn as you get in the seat? Never heard it in our car - is it an import doing a weird importy type thing? Sometimes they like to beep at you to remind about putting the belt on.
  15. +1 Each to their own chaps but I have to say I think your stone cold mad as a shithouse rat if you don't literally want to copulate with that car!!!!!!!!!! Stunning and how much fun is it going to be fettling with it to get it back to pristine - sooooooooooooo jealous. In fact.........how much is my Lancer worth if I sold it?
  16. Admiral are really good because you can be relatively vague with what you have done. We stuck a zorst, pop charger (on the Zed) and an ECU piggyback chip (on my car) for about £35
  17. Zed paint is really thin - make sure he uses a mirconimeterythingymabob to check the paint depth if you do let him loose.
  18. Make sure you inspect the bits that "weren't in the accident" as well. If this guy is as much of a chump as you reckon then other area's might be affected. It doesn't take much to write a car off these days so you might get lucky. RAC inspection is a definite and if I was you I'd go a step further and take it to your local trusty mech (if you have one) - slip him a few quid and as him for a proper expert opinion.
  19. Don't be too concerned about the exhaust Phil. It's prob just a cheaper stainless one.....they can bit a bit tricky to hang straight. We're only mentioning it so you know. I'd see it as a bonus personally and just have it tweaked so it hangs a bit straighter. If it is aftermarket don't forget to declare it on the insurance.
  20. oh dear....thats going to cause some back lash and about a fellow sunset ex owner. Do the crime.........pay the time. I have.................10 times in 11 years of driving
  21. Thats the joy of nuclear. One fuel load could last 20 years no problem. Same with power stations (which it basically is). No need to carry extra fuel. Just a shame about the radioactive ooze that it produces that takes a squillion years to decontaminate! Maybe they could enlist your help Andy and create a wind turbine powered aircraft carrier
