1. I can't work out if that is good or bad ???? I've got the Arcan one which is around £90 - and I think it's brilliant, although I have to use a 2nd jack at the front before I can get it under the middle of the car (not even low, on Tein springs) http://www.costco.co.uk/view/p/arcan-2000kg-aluminiumsteel-service-jack-model-hj2000eu-900930 That's the one! I keep meaning to buy one but we nick next doors instead! Fully agree with you there, I have one and find it not of the highest quality, I can see why it's cheap. In hindsight I would have rather spent a small amount more and got a much better one from Costco The one from costco is worth it's weight in free cheese nibbles. Awesome bit of kit for the money Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

5. That is the end of a very long shift. Thanks for the hard work buddy Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
6. I stumbled across The Diary of The Displaced series recently and I've nearly read every word the guy has put to paper. The author is glynn james who's not all that well known but seriously I've enjoyed these more than any books I've read in recent years. Sci-fi with a very nostalgic tinge to it. Wouldn't go as far as saying its steampunk but not a million miles away Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Fiat 500X

Not sure if that the one me and jenna had as a hire car in lanzarote but we were decently surprised (I was sort of a fat 500 but not the MPV effort). Nippy, good economy, really easy to drive (Jen has never driven on the 'wrong side' and found it really easy). My mate had a normal 500 for his missus which he's just slung back into the lease company. I noticed it was smoking quite a bit and it was a petrol but realistically that could of been anything Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
8. For me this mod actually is the core of modding.......It absolutely divides opinion. Dipped wheels can look garbage.....I have dipped wheels and they look garbage. But that's because the only film I had lying around when tarting my car up was a crappy carbon. I'm genuinely blow away by these. They look very classy. It's real easy to go very chav with wheels especially when hydrodipping. That said someone else will hate them......which is essentially the perfect mod Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
9. So did I and you'll notice my joining date! Either way you've got a decent car. Just cello tape another duct to the other side when you come to sell it on! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
10. In addition to the above I use a plastic razor blade when I'm de-stickering commercial vechilea Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

13. There is a way to calculate your cfm if you Google it. I didn't bother and just classified it as 'inadequate' Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
14. No expert but our compressor is a fair beast (similar to the one you have) and we have issues occasionally depending on what we are doing because the CFM isn't great. Not sure if linking an even bigger tank will cause similar/exacerbated issues. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
15. If I can think on I'll root a spare grey disc out of the bin when I get back to work. Lobbed it out on Friday.
16. Like rocking horse muck but these are proper and comparatively cheap. https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/161925290094

18.
If it was me, I'd clean then lightly sand the damage smooth using sand paper then treat the leather with conditioner in meantime
Basically this but I think you'll remove some pigment. Do the above then recolour with pigment and seal it Buffalo leather in Preston for the products. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
19. ^ you could have it just painted for probs 100 quid by me or do it yourself for about 50 quid of products and rattle cans. Surprising how tidy you can make it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

Green leather,

I think you'll find colouring black leather is very difficult as it's a dark colour. Orange would be easier. Use buffalo leather in Preston. Personally I'd use an airbrush to do it but some of the guys have used a sponge. Thin layers and the minimum amount for the coverage you need. I.e don't assume lathering it on until you have 10 million layers is the best practice. More you use the bigger chance of future failure. The lacquer sealant is the layer that takes the brunt. 22. I'm selling them for £250 without a plenum back my way so it'd be £200 delivered with this one headed to me (already got one prepped for paint and dip so this one would become the new donor) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
23. If anyone wants to buy the plenum he can ship it to us and we'll hydrodip one we've already got for you Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
24. Oooh! Does it involve fast spinny things?
25. There will be a sensor going in or around the hub. Prob best take it to a garage mate......better to check damage on a ramp Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
