  1. £80 fully fitted for us but that was without painting as its a CF jobbie. If your confident George then go for it!
  2. *sigh* Dude - you stick alloys, big exhaust, decats, bodykit and a twin turbo on your car.........you don't tell the insurance company because its going to put your insurance up to 5k so keep schtum and it stays at 1k Think carefully before you answer............are you insured? I'll give you a clue - it got an 'o' in it and it begins with an 'N'. As someone state above why **** 1k into the wind for an insurance policy thats invalid from the day you pay for it!!!!!!! Why's it so high mate? Do you have points or an accident or something? 5k seems loopy even for a 21 year old - have you tried Admiral.
  3. Easy rule of thumb bud. Low mileage - take a punt High mileage - walk if Nissan can't trace the history.
  4. Nothing 'birdy' about my TT. It's mint. Jerk Birds car Each to their own at the end of the day - the Audi is a decent car but the Zeds quite clearly in a different league.
  5. Definitely declare the kit mate - bear in mind as well that many insurance companies charge you more for the modification but don't actually insure the mod itself (such as the ever popular Admiral, Elephant ETC). In basic terms that means if you have a crash they will NOT replace any damage to the Nismo bits with Nismo bits - it'll be OEM replacement........unless you pay the EXTRA premium on top of the EXTRA premium you've already paid
  6. just because "Clarkson" says so - doesn't mean you have to /quote] I personally couldn't care less what that pubeheaded moron has to say about anything to be honest..........doesn't he also hate the Zed? The TT is a birds car - fact...........lets experiment - type the following into Google and see what the first auto suggestion is "is the audi TT".........my case rests
  7. The major benefit of a Zed over a TT is that the Zed won't feel like you have a vagina when you drive it
  8. Tarmac's been out of the country - he returns tomorrow - so I doubt much has progressed. ......aside from the untimely death of his liver - that may of progressed significantly
  9. They're the dudes I got my CF N1 spoiler from - doesn't come with a fitting kit but any decent body shop won't have any problems with that. Cost £80 for us to have it fitted too and you'll need to have another 2 holes drilled in your bootlid (unless you want to chance gluing it )
  10. I would hazard a guess that Alex's enthusiasm re the lights Tony bought mean they were from him
  11. You are aware that you need to drill 2 extra holes in the boot lid aren't you mate? Be very careful taking the old one off too - it can be a bugger to remove and many have ended up with scratching - ChrisS has taken his off previously himself and can prob offer some good advice. Try these guys for the paint http://www.paints4u.com/paintdoctor.aspx
  12. .......which is about what 1500 squid of zorst? Welcome to the forum

  14. what were you taken aback by buddy? 67k isn't far off average mileage for a 6 year old motor? Tis cheap but he could just be after a quick sale - Zeds aren't the easiest car to get rid of in the current climate it would seem. Ginger is also a bit of a marmite colour - personally I'd go have a look, make sure its tight and then tear his arm off (not literally as you may ruin the sale because he won't be able to sign the V5).
  15. I think it was the leg-end that is Doogyrev.......twas while we were away getting piddled on in the Lakes!
  16. I hate the fact that its all scripted to be honest - I used to like what I perceived to be a couple of guys having a bit of a laugh and a general dick around.........then I realised that its just a scripted load of shash. Bit like all the comedy panel shows like They Think Its All Over, Celeb Juice and all that jazz.........scripted which kind of ruins the funny bits.

  22. Was good to catch up with you all again...........thankfully the weekend passed with the minimum of abuse about my attire! Although we did stray into the world of my DIY failures so another bit of my manhood has had to die inside I thought the most iconic moment was when I peeked out of our bedroom window in the morning to see Wasso using his plenum as a radiator to dry his jeans impressivly resourceful!. Looks like it was well worth making the journey Graham.
