  1. Driving along the A55 and got a text from Carla......obviously as I was driving all I saw was 'Carla' come up on the phone display. At the same time I looked in my wing mirror and saw her racing up alongside me in the fast lane (unusual as she lives the opposite side of town!!! So I commenced the wild animalistic flapping that we have adopted to greet one another when passing on the motorway (second only to the slightly more dangerous dead ahead stare and meerkat paws that is reserved for special occasions).........oh the horror when I discovered it was SparksCW's old motor and its new owner. Hopefully he was concentrating on the road and not the partially retarded person in the slow lane wildly gesturing at him.
  2. It's the fake bankers drafts that get called back mate. They're fake but it takes a couple of weeks for the bank to identify it by which point your car has disappeared into the sunset. Bank transfer is instant and unless the originator proves that it was a fraudulent transaction then it should never be 'bounceable'
  3. Mate you just need to get a bicycle
  4. Focus ST. Space, power, reasonable running cost, fun.
  5. That's exactly what they want you to do. Stay professional and polite and they're screwed
  6. I know, I know I thought you lot were supposed to be mongs and you'd get confused if I started on the technical terms. According to Maxi I'm breaking the law never mind not paying an invoice!
  7. Best telly available bar none. Makes spods like me think they can fix things and are suitable qualified to wield a blowtorch. Ed's a quality mech but I think he's forced into some of these bodge efforts by the restrictions on budget. In the early series he'd always manage to get a full respray from his 'mate' for about £300. "removing the entire head from an engine can be a tricky job but as a garage would charge about a thousand pounds its well worth having a crack yourself at home. All you need is a basic tool kit" Yeah thats right.........well worth having a crack..........if you want your car written off beyond economic repair because Ricey figured the quickest way to remove the ancillaries would be to burn through anything meltable.
  8. The main problem parking enforcement companies have with me is the fact that I always work on the basis of 'I've lost' so then I set my mind to making sure I have at least £120 of amusement from causing them grief. If they back down great I get amusement and no fine, if they don't I get to go to court and see how things happen there. Its only a civil hearing so its not like you get any criminal charges. I'd probably pay £120 to go and see how a civil court works.
  9. Bugger that was the damn word I was trying to think of. To be honest Chris the main tactic with these emails is to use words that are as complex and technical sounding as possible so encryption should do the trick even if its not strictly acurate. If these mongtards can forge a photo then you know what I'll literally pay the full whack of the fine out of shear impressednesnesnensness.
  10. As per the dawg whats illegal about it? Its clearly a parking spot in regular use (reasonable assumption therefore that it is a 'space', its un-numbered and therefore not anyone elses space, its not demarcated as a 'no parking zone', its doesn't have a 'no parking' sign, those signs you can see in the picture are all over the site and of a very generic nature (I.E tell you the consequence of breaching parking conditions but do not set out the parking conditions). About the biggest case for argument they have is that I have driven over an undropped kerb and a double yellow line to park in the space which could suggest a 'no through route'. Pretty weak ass argument if you ask me. In terms of it being illegal......it could be perceived to be a breach of contract but there is nothing legal about it. However to be a breach of contract they have to prove that a contract exists (which is normally what a sign would do).
  11. No you can still get a ticket and therefore are more likely to end up in court............the exact course of action I intend to pursue if they push it.
  12. Oi! Bugger off!! Everyone slagging my past cars. If anyone says it looks like a merc e class then I'm handing out an ass whooping!
  13. You can actually save cash and improve performance. Don't buy any food so you starve. Lose 3 stone and the car will have a better bhp per tonne ratio and will be better balanced
  14. Powerhouse fully loaded estate, preferably a V8
  15. Bizarre......that's the same for massaging squirrel, shagging squirrel and now stomping scrat from ice age!
  16. Still is mate .....they're the other side of the wall/gate.
  17. Also is my squirrel bouncing on his acorn yet or is he still suspended mid leap?
  18. Pinged for parking at Carla's flat which has no and I do mean NO vistitor parking whatsoever. Parked there on and off since she moved in back in March, Woke up on Monday to a £50 ticket if paid within 14 days, £80 if left and £125 (I think) if left more than 28 days. This is where I parked (where the Audi is........not my Audi I might add......this is off Google Street map so its quite clearly a place that people park. I made a reasonable assumption that this was basically the only place to park if you're a visitor (the site is 4 large new modern blocks of apartments). Their appeals email received this shortly after on Monday! Good morning, *Important* at this stage this is not an appeal as no acceptance of a contract breach is implied or accepted at this stage. Further information is required as per the list below to enable consideration of the allegation. Regarding parking ticket PCN11162 please can you provide the following to enable me to understand the situation further; Clarification of what particular breach of contract you perceive to be broken? Your form is non-specific citing a possible 3 variations of breach. Clarification of the ‘car park’ that you believe the breach took place within? ‘Race Course’ is stated on the invoice but this is rather perplexing as the location appears to be the Elan Homes development off Saddlery Way. The ‘car park’ for the Race Course is located in land parcel J1 below. Photographic evidence (subject to clarification of the above point) of either – ‘Parking in Wrong Bay’ (perhaps a definition of what a ‘wrong bay’ is would be useful – assume you mean another individuals designated space?), parking in a ‘Restricted Area’ clearly showing the adequate signage demarcating this as a private area with restricted parking or ‘outside markings of bay’ again showing clearly the demarcation of the bays. Photographic evidence of the perceived breach of contract to include a time and date encryption. Photographic evidence of the adequately lit signage which was/is present in the immediate vicinity to include a time and date encryption. Confirmation of who you are acting as an agent of (i.e the land owner). Confirmation that your client is the land owner. Reference included - the owner of land parcel J4. I would suggest the land registry is the most conclusive way for you to evidence this but I am prepared to accept other documentation in the interest of not being obstructive. Alternatively you may rescind the charge notice and the matter will be dropped. Should I not hear from you within 7 days I shall assume that you have dropped the matter and are in full agreement that no contract nor breach of said contract exists. Kind regards Paul Rice Litigation Manager
